Caution!! Basho is Matsuo Basho who is a Japanese medieval famous poemer. His 古池や　蛙飛び込む　水の音 is one of the best Japanese 5-7-5 style poetries. He isnt banana plants. But Mitso is Aida Mitsuo who is a modern famous poemer. And adding みつを or みつお to make poetry is referenced by shit poster because of its cuteness.

Appreciate the work on the haiku! Was thinking, maybe "Betrayal of the nephew?" for the 7syl tanka line? But then thought, whatever, the syllable rules aren't super hard and fast rules, and "Nephew's betrayal" just sounds correct in a poetic flow kinda way... despite the nonsense haha
