Wonderful job! It upsets me that owners neglect their dogs like this. If you can't afford to groom, just use the scissors to give a cut. It may not look professional, but it certainly alleviates the severe matting which causes serious skin irritation. Btw, the dog looks like he has glaucoma in his eye; circular cloudy spot

Hi! Dog groomer here. I high advise against cutting your own dogs hair, it can be extremely dangerous, especially if they have matting. Since the hair is so close to the skin, you can easily cut them open. Many groomers, like myself- will openly take your dog in without expecting pay or will give a major discount, or allow a payment plan. We are here not to just make your dogs pretty, but to also allow them to live a comfortable and healthy life 💕

Then I started watching an Asian groomer and her clients would fall asleep under her care. Now I can add you to my list of preferred groomers💞

Für den Hund ist das eine Quälerei wenn man das Fell weg macht. Können dich ja auch Mal komplett nackt rausstellen bei Minustemperaturen. Das knurren hier und da zeigt es ja schon das ihm das gar nicht gefällt. Hier und da kürzen ja, das er wieder was sieht aber das ist übertrieben. Das sollte verboten werden!

I'm so sorry for your loss. 🫂 🤗 I had my previous dog for 18 years and when Mitch died my whole family grieved. We were devasted. I cried on and off for over a year. It can still make me tear up now and he passed away over 10 years ago. I have two Shih Tzu's now and they are my world. They are 8 and 9 years old so still have several more years in them both🤞. I wish you all the best. X

I watched this because I had my dog groomed just yesterday after recently picking her up from. 6 weeks at the boarders. They had not brushed her at all.She was matted everywhere. Anyway she looks exactly like the dog in this video except my 7 month old puppy is black and white. I think after the grooming experience she was in shock. She’s very aware of her hair loss and is observing my behavior with her! I think she wanted to know if I still loved her in he own way. She has been more clingy and how is that possible for a Shih Tsu? Anyway when I saw the dog in the video chase it’s tail, it made me laugh because my puppy did the exact same thing. Your video made me more secure with my decision to have her hair shaved and comfortable with the process of her new hair growth.
