Nah, I love them but they dont love me, I just accept it as is. I cant control who they love or dont love, i cant make them love me. They only they choose. And they chose their daddy. Even though i feed the,, give them treats, baths, i think its the baths that made them dislike me so much. Lol. Now that i think about it.

Franz Kafka I'm sorry about your mom's loss as I know how hard it can be. I was a wreck after losing our dog last year. That said, no one donated a puppy to me. I was the one who went out and found the perfect dog (another shih tzu) for our family. It is not this breeder's job to donate to every person who has lost a dog and it doesn't make them mean for refusing your request. If they give you a dog, then they would have to give everyone a dog for free. It is not fair to expect special treatment just because of struggles. We all have struggles. If you're not able to afford another dog from a breeder, then you could consider adopting a dog from a shelter or rescue for your mom. Their refusal is reasonable and does not have an negative impact of their character. I would do the same if I was asked. Good luck finding any breeder who will donate to a stranger "just because."

I got my shih tzu when he was 6 weeks due to problems with the mom. I didn't know I was getting him lol, He was brought home and I was given the responsibility of a puppy without wanting one....but here he is 3 months old and I wouldn't trade him or sell him for anything in the world.

My Shih Tzu, Mia, was living in a dirty place. I remember when I picked her, she was all by herself in a closet corner, covered in her own pee. She just looked so miserable, hardly responsive. It broke my heart, and made me very angry. Now, she’s full of life, and completes mine.

You're lucky because mine Already died everytime I adopt a Shihtzu it dies... The first one actually lost My uncle leave the door open and my Cholo followed him The second one is Sam also Shihtzu my uncle adopt it so I won't cry again because of cholo...but after 4 years he died The third one...named MOMO and that was from my aunt in my stepfather's side... But she didn't survive for 2 years she's only 1 year and 6months... I'm traumatized after what happened to those three even though we take them to vet they still didn't survive... That's why I'm not adopting anymore because I would cry again and again call me weak I don't care...I give love but they give me pain...

I love it when they are starting to grow some teeth. And when they chew your fingers off when they don’t have teeth yet and only have gums (lmao). But when they have teeth, bro it hurts than an adult’s if bitten. Lol small yet uber sharp 😂. Don’t forget little poops and ennie little pool, drops of yellow liquid wherever they adventured.

My one (called Agnes, who is a cross between a shih zu and this dog i can't remember who has a big curly white circle head,) still does it and it 7. I've had them since I was 8, I'm 13 now Turing 14 this 2021. She loves to get cradled and is do cute when she tilts her head. Agnes will always have a special place in my heart, for ever. Just don't want her to ever go. Ill always love u Agnes 💜💜💜💜💜

I had a maltese x shih tzu, her name was Roxy she was 6 turning 7. She was such a healthy playful happy dog. Although she suddenly most likely got a brain tumor. She stopped running around as much and took her to the vet. We then realised she went blind and took her to the vet again but she was unable to walk. A few days after that she was actually having seizures and when my dad was taking me school while she was in the car having them, and he had to take her to the vet again that day. The vet said it was best to put her down which it was the best idea otherwise she would've been in pain.

@2:40 the puppy said tag me in! Haha. I had one of these dogs but she was mixed. We never found out with what but she was definitely mixed. We got her at the pound. She was with all her brothers and sisters. She was the only one brave enough to walk up and approach so we said that’s the one. I believe she was half Shih Tzu and Maltese. She was super playful and a great guard dog. She knew who was in the fam and who wasn’t but she was accepting towards those we deemed friends and family she hasn’t seen before. She was also super lazy, there was never any medium. She played like a big dog though, going for the biggest toy she could find, nibbles a little harder than most small dogs, and did a ton of playful fake growling. Fetch never worked. She go after the ball, stop before it, sniff it and either lay next to it or she kept walking. She never brought the ball back. Legend has it, I’m still waiting. Then she got old and she eventually was gone. She lived a long and healthy life, 16 years and 3 months shy of 17. I shared my bday with her and I don’t like celebrating my bday. Now I don’t like celebrating it even more that she’s gone. She died back in 2015, I was 27 at the time. My daughter wants a dog but I’m not I’m ready. One day I suppose.

We brought our Shih Tzu princess home when she was 8-9 weeks old. She was not our dog so much as we were her humans. We learned the Shih Tzu language and communication process. All joking aside she was an intelligent and affectionate member of our family for 17 years. If you’re looking for a canine companion that loves to be with people you would be fortunate to have a Shih Tzu adopt you as their human.😊🙏

3:28 - 3:38 is so adorable!! My puppy used to do that with me!! Now he is 10 months old and still tries to do that but the problem is he has extremely sharp teeth lol Yet that doesn’t stop him. They grow up so fast and grow taller and bigger!!!! Enjoy your time with them as a puppy!!!!

Teirusuki Pretty soon she will start dominating your 7-yr old. My four year old male was dominated by the female I brought in. Then when she had puppies, one of them started dominating the whole pack! She is the boss in my home now.

The best dog we ever owned. We raised Maltese and Llaso..NONE compare to the Shi Tzu. Not in personality, temperament, grooming ease, training, etc. We got a docile one. They are not all docile though..Love our little Barkley!

I've had mine for about a week now, super adorable, male, is about 2 months old, ha him for a week and Ngl ye I did have my mental breakdowns idk if it's bc I get stressed easily, cry a lot bc I'm sensitive or wtv the case may be, he sure did make me cry a lot, they make many messes, I recommend to train him going potty right after u get him but if not many disasters can happen, I don't recommend them if you get stressed or frustrated easily, have mental breakdowns, are indecisive, haven't researched EVERYTHING about them, aren't patient, have carpet as ur floor, are busy, can take full responsibilities things like that, he's cute tho

My Shih Tzu - 4 months old - I named her Maya. She is smart, cute, mischievous, full of energy n life. Maya is learning to bark n when she does one can tell she is still a baby. She'll walk up to anyone n make friends. She bullies my other 2 yorkie n Chihuahua but since they're older they allow her as she is playful. One thing Maya does is eat her own poop - I read somewhere that to stop is to give her pineapple which I did but it has not stopped her. During the day it's fine because I follow her but it's when I'm sleeping or in another room - does anyone had this problem of their dogs enjoying eating their own poop? I'm hoping that she out grows this habit as she gets older. She trained herself where to pee n poop - she does not mess up any n everywhere - she is pretty good about keeping the apt clean. I bought this spray of bitter apples - the minute she bites me or chew my slippers n shoes just the bitter taste she stopped immediately. Any suggestions?

Tzus are like the best companion dog you’ll ever have! Lap dogs are known to be feisty lil fighters but that wasn’t actually the same for the Tzus. Tzus are mostly calm and lazy, except for the occasional stubborness, they’re just the perfect breed 👌🏻 I myself have had three Tzus, all rescued and a Tzu-mix raised from 39days old. I would say both pure Tzu and mixed Tzu are unique in their own way, my Tzu-mix poochie isn’t as lazy as pure Tzus and she can be there for long long long walks, occasional long jogs and even lying down on a lazy Sunday morning! I would say Tzus are the best breed for first timers that are patient and have plenty of time to take care of their doggie. Well, in case you’re wondering, yes, a well groomed Tzu is a happy Tzu! However!!! You can always keep their coat trimmed short if you don’t have the time or that your poochie doesn’t befriend the brushes! P.S.
