The Rd239 is an interesting radio for several reasons, including the price (typically under $50), user upgradeable firmware, FM/MW/SW/AIR/VHF/Weather (with alerts), external antenna jack, flashlight/reading light, AUX in, Bluetooth, MP3 play and off-air/microphone recording. Sounds like a bandwidth issue for the 108.
