.... you know I just realized something of a dynamic between the three Hamon Users and the Pillar Men. I think why this scene is so sad aside from the rather heart-wrenching opera playing in the BG, is how cruel and demeaning Caesar's death was. His body is under there definitely, but they can't even see it. In my opinion. it kind of hurts knowing that you can't see the still intact body of a good friend face-to-face one last time, but to have it mangled and crushed flat underneath where you can't even see a single trace of him. Seeing only his blood leak out is the icing on the cake for these emotions. I'd rather like to grip the body's limp hand before I make a vow to avenge his death.
