I don't know what goes harder the gameplay or the vid description but I DIG IT ha. Also I hate this game's stupid aspect ratio. 9 by 16 Why? WHY?! it just makes the bullets tiny for no reason.

I would assume it's for full screen tate mode on a 16×9 monitor that you can rotate. KZbin should support 9×16 video since it supports cellphone vertical videos.

Got to say the Soul Collect mechanic almost trivializes a lot of the really difficult patterns since it's like a bomb you can just keep replenishing with careful timing. DoDonpachi on the other hand tells you to just suck it up or use your limited bombs lol.

I remember really bouncing off of this one back when it first came out. I see they added actual… anything, of a story. Maybe I’ll revisit it on a sale or so. Sucks they obviously couldn’t do any EXA related content. And maybe I’ll mute the boss music too.

Interesting to see a run of this. I've seen really mixed reactions to this game, though mostly okay to hate, regardless of version. Not sure how to feel about it, even for danmaku it doesn't wow me beyond aesthetic. I thought about buying the steam on sale, but I'm already not great at vertical games, since I find it harder for me to read the screen vs horizontal ones just due to experience, and if my experience from playing the exA Aka To Blue is anything, I don't like how 16:9 squashes the overall screen space, and it's really annoying in vertical games.

Shikhondo: Youkai Rampage is supposed to be coming to the Switch soon, its already on Steam. Though as Jaimers said in the description, its not the same as the Exa version. It is, though, a weird upgrade to Soul Eater. Soul Eater was delisted and this version is supposed to replace it.

@@pockethero1The first version of the game is on switch, this one is a newer version that basically just came out for now. Dunno if it will come out because the first game got delisted on switch eshop for some reason or another a year ago.

@@pockethero1 Soul Eater was on Switch but its delisted now and they are replacing it with this game glad i brought Soul Eater before they delisted it definitely looking forward to this new installment

Man even on Extreme the threat level just uh.....isn't hitting, especially during the stages it looks like you're asleep compared to most other bullet hells.
