I never thought Shiki would cover a Keshi song, this is honestly a dream come true... her voice works really well with these comfy songs!

Shiki... I discovered you recently when you released Rewind, because I follow SO87. Ever since then, I've been listening to Rewind, You're The Only One, and now this, several times every day. There's a unique, but very subtle nuance in your voice that I can't get over. A hint of pain. Something that lets you know, "this person has been through some stuff." You have that higher pitched tone with some nasal and "buzz" in it that I've always loved, common among Vtubers/singers, or really just Jpop in general. But you have something else, layered on top of that, that isn't easily captured or replicated by someone who hasn't experienced heartache in their life no matter how talented of a singer they are. I'm not here to trauma dump, so I'll keep this next part vague. In my 34 years of life, I have had my ups and downs, as we all do, but I would have considered myself fairly happy, lucky, and free of emotional pain, up until the past three months. In the past 25 years, since I discovered Japanese and electronic music, I generally pay zero attention to the lyrics in the music I listen to, deriving my own meaning and emotions based purely on the music itself - not the words. Even in songs with English lyrics, I ignored them. This has changed very recently, and I am suddenly finding myself empathetic to lyrics I never was before. I know these aren't technically your words, but it's still a very strange coincidence to me that I started following you so recently, and then you dropped this cover. See, I didn't know of this song, or Keshi, before now. But let me tell you... every word of this song feels like it was ripped directly out of my head in the past few months, to the point that it freaks me out a little bit. Your beautiful, haunting voice on top of these lyrics, and this chill acoustic guitar and chord structure does things to me that I'm not prepared for every single time I listen to it. I'm really sorry for the long message, but I felt like I needed to share my appreciation and explain why this cover, and your past couple originals, have meant so much to me. Thank you so much for this. I've also never supported anyone on Patreon before now either, but I wanted to do what I could to help your career, so you can keep doing what you love and sharing it with all of us to love alongside you. I can't wait to hear what you have next in store for us.

Another perfect Shiki Cover. Can't put my finger on it but there's just something about the way she sings that makes her probably my favourite singer.

Absolutely love Keshi! Awesome to see a cover of one of his songs. Also love the super casual low effort content. I feel like these small spur of the moment covers is the work of passion. It's a totally different vibe than the views maxing super orchestrated and highly produced content.

The combination of your vocals and the relatively toned down instrumental is very relaxing. I like it a lot.

Shiki this was beautifyul! I've never heard this song before today but it's... much more relatable than I'd like to admit. You did a fantastic job on this and I love how the low register really brings out the warmer tones of your voice. I know it's a cover, but I hope that when those stitches start to rip at the seams, you have enough love around you to help ease the feelings that come with it.♥

Every time you release a new cover, it's always a bop for the heart and mind, Shiki. And this song really hits deep, not gonna lie. As someone who constantly harbours deep insecurities about my daily accomplishments and fulfillments... I relate so hard to the lyrics. I'm definitely listening to this a lot going forward. Love u, Shiki. 🧡🧡🧡

A absolutely beautiful cover If you ever want to do more emo songs, I'd love to here your skeletons sing. But that extends to every person on this earth. For better or worse the bad things make us who we are, so is your story bloomed into something beautiful yet? Im soon to be 25 and i can say after dealing with depression for 17 years; even if it doesn't get better, shouldn't life be a piece of art?
