If we compare the secondary weapons with Yamato, Shikishima uses Harugumo guns while Yamato uses Shimakaze guns. so Shikashima's secondary weapons have more HE penetration and better DPM than Yamato.

every 11 seconds. he could fire those BIG ASS guns every ELEVEN seconds. and if you've ever been in a match with a shikashima you know, the guns literally sound like thunder no matter where you are on the map. That must have been horrifying to hear on the enemy team, just non-stop rolling thunder. also... I thought it was not good but man now I want it.

There is definitely an intimidation factor, was in a match with two of them the first day and hearing that rolling thunder gives you increasing levels of concern when you are being targeted by anything.

Izumo, Musashi, Yamato, and Shikishima all do decent with secondary builds from a pure damage perspective. Musashi trades in 127mm's for 155mm's and Shikishima trades in 127's for 100mm's but gains .7km's in range to make up for it. Or around a full km if you spec for secondaries.

Had that happen earlier in Legends. I was in a Bismarck and a wuss of a Bismarck sat in back and let like four of his team mates die to me and two of mine while he took pot shots. Got brave when it was just me with 19,000 hitpoints left and proceeded to chase me. I burned him to the water line and it felt good.

People tend to underestimate the IJN big boy's secondaries, but those things are fairly decent. Highest damage per shot on their 155's among battleship secondaries ((And lets be honest, the highest, Kaga, should NEVER be in range to use hers)), second highest fire starting percentage, and a good loadout of 100mm's. The only thing you could ask for would be upgrading the 100mm's to 127's or whatever the Japanese use around that barrel size.

I've seen so many lost battles where you take the caps, then your team decided to push through and into the enemy who has crossfires.

They wouldn't win by point since another allied ship was gonna contest it right away. What the mino should've done was not shoot at all which prompted the player to turn towards the mino and coincidentally prevented a full broadside of torps that was already on it's way.

along time, will take about a year or more depending on time spent. To get steel: clan battles, clan bonus (steel mill), ranked battles, daily missions and xmas bonus (once per ship), use discount coupons to bring shiki down to 24k steel.

7.7km base range on Shikishima secondaries. It started testing with 7.7km, WG changed them to 6km to discourage secondary builds with it, it was underperforming so, among other buffs, WG restored the 7.7km secondary range.
