spring 春 is actually very often used as a metaphor for youth 青春 in japanese and theres also spring kanji in kanji for youth

The song name is “i’m gonna fall in love with my teacher” but the thing is if you tell them that.. When your friend tried to searched it up on youtube, they probably might cant find it because the music video has no title 😂😂 When it comes to Shikiura’s songs i think its best to send them video links instead :)
I adore how the text at the end changes the perspective of the entire song, what a great MV all around!

@@sapnupua5 So basically, the girl tells us from the beginning that she has feelings for her teacher, "I'm gonna fall in love with my teacher" is as blatant as it gets, but then the lyrics add "I want to give up on you before it's too late/it'd be nice if the two of us stay as we are", which implies the girl never managed to get into a proper relationship with her teacher (otherwise, the "giving up" part would involve breaking up with the teacher, not to "stay as we are") and as the rest of the lyrics show, she is trying to be satisfied with graduating as just another one of their students. Now, the interesting part and the reason why I like the ending text so much, is that the girl makes the interactions the two had seem relatively innocent, she only sings about some moments when they kissed (as opposed to how in "The body is honest" the MC outright sang about using sex to keep a relationship alive), and she actually seems frustrated because her teacher won't do more to her, to the point she straight up begs them to cross the line several times throughout the song (e.g "it's okay if you go crazy teacher", "Drench me in your touch/I don't need to graduate/just keep on stealing my spring", "Come and properly take my spring again"). So if we combine this tidbits with the information at the beginning to try and build the bigger picture, it appears that the teacher rejected the girl's feelings, but still went and met with her several times to do physical things to her ("A secret afterschool meeting with jus the two of us/soaking wet under the same umbrella because it's not big enough) only to stop doing so once it seemed they were taking things too far, with the stopping part being the source of the girl's disappointment. All in all, this makes the MV look like a pretty light story compared to Shikiura's other pieces. Sure, the teacher and the student had a few ethically-questionable trysts, but in the end they both realize they are better off going their separate ways now that the girl is graduating, so following that idea, they choose to settle down for the good memories they have left of their times together and try to be content with that ("I'm happy even with just these memories/I wonder if it was fun for you too" ,"In a piece of film before it was too late/ showed the two of us, so pure). A bittersweet but not completely tragic ending it seems, good for the MC. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT! Surprise, it turns out the relationship the two had was utterly horrible and the girl was simply trying to cope with the experience by pretending it had been all sunshine and rainbows (as the text puts it "Pushing all of the worst memories and our unsettled thoughts onto the Ark/I wonder if the seasons I spent with you could be called happiness), so much for moving on. This brings me to one other aspect I really like about the song, its foreshadowing for the twist. At 0:41 the girl sings a peculiar line, "That's what the rotten you likes, right?": It sounds like a very mean thing to say to her beloved sensei, and the lyrics immediately go back to their previous smitten tone afterwards, but given the ending, that slip-up is most likely her true opinion of sensei, a "rotten" person who abused her psychologically and sexually (though this is not to say she didn't love them too, Stockholm syndrome seems to have hit the girl hard). Also, at 0:56, the girl mentions "Only picking out the happiness", another clue pointing to how she is heavily sugarcoating her own memories. And finally, at 2:09, she mentions a movie featuring the two of them in the past ("In a piece of film before it was too late/ showed the two of us, all pure), which implies the purity of their relationship waned at some point and is gone in the present. TL:DR This is a very cool song about a victim of grooming coming to terms with the fact she was groomed in the first place. Edit: I've seen some theories saying that the girl commits suicide at the end, but as sad as the song can be, I think she lives. The line "The thought of never seeing you again drove me crazy, increasing my pill count" could be taken a suicidal at first, but then we get to the last part of the text and it says "I'll put away these particulars so I can be nice to you again". It would be impossible for her to 'be nice to' sensei again if she were dead, which leads me to believe that the part about increasing her pill count isn't a metaphor for anything, she really is just increasing her pill count (of anti-depressants, most likely) in order to cope with the increase in stress that her incoming graduation and what it means for her complicated relationship with sensei is causing her. Also, another neat detail I noticed upon relistening to the song is that is that the sound effect that plays at the very beginning is the clinking of a film reel being placed into a projector. At 0:54, the girl brings that one of the things she did with sensei was watching movies, though it appears to have been more of an excuse to get together and touch her than anything else ("Just give me those selfish kisses again/ as we quietly watch a movie today"). This ties her time with sensei to the act of watching films, and following this motif, the last line of the song she sings is about a movie where the two of them are characters and that depicts their wholesome past. But the catch here is that the one time we get a glimpse at the "pure" phase of their relationship, it's inside a literal movie, a piece of fiction. Given what the girl admits in the ending text, whether those pure times with sensei even existed at all outside of that film, or if she's making it up too, is debatable. AND THEN, what's really freaky here is that as I brought up above, this MV starts together with the noises made by a projector, meaning that it too is a film being displayed (and is therefore just another fictionalized and ideal version of the girl's love story made by herself, hence why its lyrics contradict what her confessions in the end says). The girl stacked fiction upon fiction to try and make sense of her love for sensei, and like in an actual film, the credits rolls at the end of this song before we are treated to a "post-credit scene" that rewards you for staying, in this case through the reveal of the text. Crazy stuff, Shikiura and ROTUS really put a lot of details into this MV.
