Just planning my 2025 route, I am also planning to visit Hiroshima. will be very interested to see if you go to Hiroshima and how and where the ferry terminal is. I think breaking up walk would be a good plan. Looking at the route the ferry terminal is less than 2km away from Temple 52. I plan to stay in Matsuyama o/n walk to temple 52 and than get the ferry to Hiroshima for a few days. Returning to Matsuyama and pick up from Temple 52 . Thanks again your videos for Shikoku are the best.

One month you are in italy the next japan. You make brilliant videos, a real professional. Have you ever thought of branching out ?

This was a year ago, but I'm editing all my trips at one. What do you mean by branching out? I've done many hikes all over the world.
