New owner confirmed by EPL on very lucky Ganesha day - last wed of Feb 28/02/24. Ooo Wee Albion gonna win FA cups & EUFA cups & get to & stay in top tier for decades. Albion has lots of tasty samosa ladoo & chai waiting for u Shilen. Its like accepting a new bridegroom into the Albion family. Baggies fans love the Albion like a favourite daughter. ❤ After an unlucky chinese boy friend she gotta a nice smart American-Indian husband.

The last minute is the defining moment for me, it shows a respect and understanding for this club that Lai never had. In the part about the loans, although it’s been answered like a politician it sounds to me like he’s saying “the last bloke left that in such a mess we’re still working it out”

Shilen Patel seems an absolutely, humble gentleman who has a clear vision of how he perceives the current situation and the possibilities of going forward. Apparently he's got a proven track record of taking over businesses who aren't fulfilling their potential and turning them around which certainly applies to the Baggies. I don't see a massive cash injection for buying new players because we're in need of stabilisation. I also don't understand the MSD loan situation and why it's not being paid off in full straight away. Under his ownership I can see us growing as a club. Exciting times indeed COYB.

I believe he's quite involved with mds or certainly close to them. My guess is he has negotiated a better deal for both. Knowing Lai, they don't trust him and a lower intrest rate + trust ( reliable) worthy party, a deal was made.

Hi i am a Baggie supporter living in South Australia - loved my baggies for 50 years .How good does Shilen sound . Intelligent ,ambitious and want's to learn about our be-loved team . I totally agree him saying he is not going to spend big but to stay in the boundaries of this division. Long term security is vital . It will be interesting to see how he invests in future players. I think getting good scout's and really focusing on the youth is critical to any teams success. If I have any advice for our new owner , keep within your means , don’t tell us what we want to hear but only what we need to know. If you show us you have our best interests at heart you will get our support and hopefully you can make money and we can progress . Don’t go for boom or bust go for steady progression.
