I wish certain gymnast wouldn’t change their floor routine, like I get that it’s normal but sometimes they should just keep that routine for at least two years. Like Shilese and Simone especially. Simone 2023 floor routine was perfect for her, Shilese new routine is still good but this is way better.

This routine is much better than her last! Still too bouncing, but I think she can be more planted in this style with her beautiful balletic lines. Just needs to use push down on the floor more to ground her movements, rather than spring through them! I approve this. And that triple L turn…a moment!

So artistry deductions, international idk about this performance. Shilese is artistic, but the choreo is very slow and has a long pause after the first tumble . She is literally walking slowly on floor for parts as dance yes its a slow music, BUT, it may be seen as smoke breaks and she can get penalized. Remember, Shilese's international score last year did not match her domestic the most of any gymnast from usa at worlds (for similar performances).

No she doesn’t. Gadirova did very few passes and won gold at last year world championship for floor exercise. Gotta get with the new COP.

I mean this is a 5.9 d score, another D level pass would only give her 0.1 and due to landings it’s not worth it

I don’t think she should get another tumbling pass, this is working for her. She would have made floor finals last year if she wasn’t 2 per countried out.
