As a licensed real estate broker, I can honestly say the agents did not present well. Viewings are scheduled and once scheduled the agent should have researched you guys a little to see where you come from in order to determine the appropriate housing preference. Especially when she asked for a budget on the scene versus already knowing a budget prior to viewing. Also, if a budget is not offered always show the best properties, never assume a lesser valued property is expected.

As a CU Boulder alum, it's cool to see my old stomping grounds. If you're looking for the biggest bang for your buck, rent an old ranch house in one of the neighborhoods off Table Mesa. Some of those houses look small from the outside, but they're huge inside. I grew a ton of weed in them back in the day. The prices for anything above the Hill or near Pearl Street will be through the roof and within walking distance to the bars, which isn't a good thing for students in my opinion unless you're more mature than I was at that age!
