Your KZbin videos are my number 1 favourite of all time. From a Cook Islander

The two fish you kept is what we call sheeps head. The thing you call a dango, we call it a sand ball. It is normally used here for yellowtail snapper. They have very good eyesight and in clear water it's almost impossible to get the big ones to bite without using the sandball method. In very clear water, it works well for many other kinds of fish. Unfortunately, it's not normally available to buy in stores. We have to make it ourselves. That's why most people don't know about it and how great it is to use. Thank you for the video! I am looking forward to the next one!

i dont think so, the sheepshead is an atlantic species whereas these are pacific. probably just occupies a similar niche

They're both porgies so they're similar but not the same fish
I enjoyed that video very much. It's similar to the yellow breams we catch here in Australia. Any fish over 40cms is a monster and they are good fighting and good eating fish.
