Thanks for the recommendation! I’ve got that reel on a shimano zodias 7’5” MH fast rod right now and love the combination! They go really well together but I’ll definitely look into those rods as well!

Just ordered mine last night. What do you think of the googan squad line lineup btw? I personally hated that stuff.

Honestly it didn’t feel that bad to me but I’m definitely gonna try to find some better line. I’m gonna try out the Daiwa J flouro samurai line next spring and based off reviews it’s supposed to be pretty good. What line do you like most?

@@NateFFishing Depends on the application. I've mainly used power pro (regular 4 carrier and super slick 8 v2) and seagaur invizx and abrazx. Picked up a 1000 yard spool of tatsu as well to try out this year

Yes I got the shimano zodias casting rod in the 7 foot 5 inch medium heavy action. I love the zodias series. My main spinning rod combo is a shimano Stradic ci4 2500 with a 7 foot medium zodias spinning rod and it’s amazing!

@Nate F Fishing yep it matches beautifully, I put a scorpion mgl 151hg on 1 of my zodias'. Just got my 21 scorpion, does it zing when you're tinkering around with it? Not when you cast but just dry run it? My curado dc's do but not this scorpion dc
