Hey I had to tear it down because my drive shaft got dethreaded so the handle nut wasn’t screwing on and staying it kept poping of now I got my new one from shimano and now I put it back together and the handle is spinning only backwards it’s not spinning forwards anymore idk why any thoughts?

the thumb knob are using some heavy glue, you need to peel it out softly.

The only way is must change new pinion gear with the main gear. Dont only change pinion gear, otherwise your reel will not smooth.
