Absolutely not.. If your talking about the Chronarch ci4 I really wish I just got 2 curado's don't get me wrong the Ci4 is awesome but it's just lighter and supposedly more refined. But I have both and the curado even casts the same

+Max Jaramillo no issues here bud. If you feel comfortable opening the reel and adding out or grease to the slide go for it.. But Shimano will take care of it for you contact them or you could send me the reel I have a reel service $20

Yea kinda.. Just use the oil that it comes with and put 2-3 drops on Q-tip and rub it on the copper coloured pyramid ring in the side plate
