Привет. Купил б.у. рабочий мотор SHIMANO STEPS е6100. Решил его смазать заново. Увидел смещение магнита. Поставил его на место. Работать будет после этого?

Thanks for the video Mike - I wish you would show more close up details of the motor...as far as I can see, it has smaller gears (that would be a lighter but weaker design) with 3 pairs rather than the usual 2...?...and you have the main output gear removed in this video..?... Cheers Cliff

change this title to system overview, then use this title for an actual closer look! owner changeable bottom bracket bearings on these motors really should be standard, have to say the bearings look a bit weedy (small)

Hi, I have a E-Mtb from Ridley, elykx a I have it all costumized xtr brakes derailleur shifter,new xt discs and pedals. I have it tuned up with an app and my top speed is about 48kmh. The cassette in the back is at its lowest right now (11). I have the chainring at 38t right now and it comes from 34t so my question is should I upgrade it to 42 or is that gonna f*ck up the motor.

Shimano had a wealth of training and instructional videos that are accessible to bike shops. I forgot what is called... Shimano tech... something... If there's no store near you, You might be able to swindle Shimano into thinking you are a bike shop, and you can login and fine what you need.

Hi Mikey how does the Asian competitors like bafang stack up in the mid drive market
@robertmasi227 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mikey Bafang is quite popular in Australia I have a Bafang Max drive on my mountain bike works quite well. I had a 500 Watt Dapu rear hub drive on my previous bike and I much prefer the mid drive. Any chance of comparing it to the other competitors to see how they compare

Do you not know of the Specialized Mission Control app that does the same as the Shimano app but even better! I've used both. Well, I tried to use the Shimano app on a Focus Jam2 I tested but it wouldn't connect using my Android device. I've heard it works using an Iphone. I loved the feel of the Shimano motor but the lack of customisation with the app stops me buying one at the moment. A Specialized bike with the Brose motor and using the Mission Control app is what I am tempted to buy at present. Love the info on the motors! Hi 5!

I have a shimano e8000. I changed the bluetooth password and now I don't remember it. Is it possible to reset the password? Shimano doesn't answer me.
@BlueMonkeyBicycles5 жыл бұрын
Have you connected it to the eTube app? If that doesn't have a provision for changing the password, a local shop that has access to diagnostic software would be another choice. After that.... shucks.... if it doesn't kick you out after too many attempts, pay a kid $20 to keep trying every password there is until he gets in.

I had a "1000w" direct drive rear hub motor on a fat bike. Now I have the Shimano steps e8000 - because it works with your gears it will out climb and out torque the "1000w" direct drive hands down by a massive margin. you cannot go by watts, its meaningless in this application.
@frankhuber99124 жыл бұрын
250W is pathetic for a cargo bike. It's not gonna haul four or five hundred pounds up a hill with any authority. I have the 48V 1000w ERAD (Bafang variant) on a Yuba Mundo, I do it with ease.
