I just bought a pair of RC702s, for use on an indoor trainer and on outdoor rides. Given how much stiffer it is than the RC502s and has a 2nd BOA instead of velcro I'm glad that I got it. The one downside, aside from the higher cost (although I got it on sale and used a coupon to bring it down to $145 + tax), is that, being stiffer, the upper is pretty stiff too, which makes for a less comfortable fit than I was used to with my previous road shoes that used only velcro to tighten. Still haven't used them though.

Is this blue RC502 limited edition? That’s what it says on competitive cyclist. I mostly see the black and white. Would love to have black but there’s no size available so i went with blue.

@@thecyclingshoeslabBtw have you seen the black version personally? Blue vs black, which one looks better? I just returned the blue 45E, too wide for me. So now i have the option to either get the blue or black 44E.
