Do people zander fish with them? I run a conquest for walleye and shore fish.. I want that reel but might be to big for a 7'6ft rod... but I feel like I could get some distance with that reel.

Distance isn’t about the reels. It’s about the rod. I’ve fished for Zander with 13ft 3.5lb Tc rods and they work fine

Just put 10 pound line on ya reels if it ant snagey lack or 8lb line with shock leaders you put 50 yards on to what you hit any way

That's insane amount of money, i easily cast 125 yards using a 3oz lead, SONIK Vader X 12FT 3.25LB Rods and a lineaeffe baitrunner reels with 15lb line, i have cast over 130 yards but all the lakes i fish do not require any further than that, funny thing is one of my mates has just gone and bought over £3,000 of new carp gear including expensive rods and reels, he done 48hr on Willow bank "Todber" caught fuck all, yet with my cheap gear i landed 6 and biggest was 22lb and on day ticket "same lake" lol, so does not matter if it cost a million pounds it aint gonna get you more fish on the bank, granted more expensive gear feels better and should last longer but so far my gear has lasted 3 years with not one problem and i fish regularly, i have a term for very expensive fishing gear "TACKLE TARTS"

@@MrLeesaunders You must be doing something wrong if you cant get to these distances with a "big pit reel" what size butt rings are on your rods? 50mm is what is best.

the Ultra rods retail around the £400 mark and the Tech Mags retail at over £600 - you can usually find lower prices if you shop around. Certainly a big investment, but these really are the cream of the crop!

@@elronron6157 0.30mm mono mainline, 45lb braided shockleader and 5oz lead. That was hitting the clip comfortably at 200 yards, so roughly 182m

Not going to help you catch any more fish and so expensive. Learn water craft instead of being that guy with all the gear and NO idea
