Talica 2-speed. Get the 16II or the 20II depending on how much line you need.

Get a scale set the drag to full hook it to your line and when she starts to slip you have a rough estimate of max drag.

No. Talica is smaller.

can you tell us the application the torso would be mostly likely used for vs the talica what could the torso handle that the tallica couldn't exception of line capacity.

They would be used for the same type of fishing. The Talica is based on the Torsa. Most people buy Talicas. They are newer and a bit more versatile.

PROBLEM IS: you cant change out the drag cams, because shimano discontinued the cams 3 years ago. So, you are stuck with the LRS, which achieves only HALF of the drag ratings that the torsa is capable of. Such bullshit. I wanted the torsa 20 with a BFS 50 cam so bad, but when i found this out, i moved over to an Avet reel. Too bad shimano started focusing on cheaper, cast, poorly developed talicas so they could make more for less.
