Lovely looking light weight set up. I used to go regular carp fishing. It was expensive, time consuming and had so much gear. Watching this has made me think about getting a little set up like yours. Maybe a heavier set up for the winter (larger pike). Must be nice to have a blaze 🌳 and chill by the river. Hoping to come back to Dam in November, I will look out for you. (Your living the dream) !!!

Thanks man , also used to carp fish allot growing up sat by the lake with a ton of gear 😄 since I started lure fishing not sure I'd have the patience to sit and watch a float these days haha. Love how active and mobile it is and you can pack extremely light . I usually still carry more then I need to be honest 😆 I have a pike set up but quite heavy to fish and carry that gear all day but a medium heavy is perfect for perch zander and smaller pike lures . Just got a new medium heavy set up also . Awesome man shout me if you come over 🤙

Nice video, what is the Maximum casting weight in real life and how does it handle cranksbaits is it a to fast action rod for vibration baits?
@NetfishnChill3 жыл бұрын
It's up to 12g but I biggest I've cast on it was 5g jig with 7cm shad which was around 12 or possibly a little more and it cast fine didn't feel overloaded . Minimum 4g but I've cast down to 1.5g fairly decent . 3g is much better with a small shad . Cranks seem OK also but not used them a huge deal . It's quite stiff for a bfs rod but that's good for me as I'm catching zander on it also .had a 60cm or so on it and wasn't bent double but amazing fight. I love this rod so much honestly. Super sensitive

Nice video! Can you tell me if the Curado BFS or the Aldebaran BFS does better perform?
@NetfishnChill2 жыл бұрын
Thankyou 🤙im pretty sure the alderbaren is a better reel but for me I dislike the brake dial position it's uncomfortable
@neyzenilkay2 жыл бұрын
@@NetfishnChill OK thank you. I want to get a new one. I am fishing my Aldebaran Limited BFS, but need a newer one cause it is 12 years old now and got some damage over the time. Actually the prices in Germany is awesome high…
@NetfishnChill2 жыл бұрын
@@neyzenilkay ahh nice man you have the og bfs reel 👌 if you don't mind the dial on the side of the alderbaren then it's a great reel . Curado is good but not as smooth obviously and doesn't cast as light out of the box
