If god would have sent a jigging angel, he is Yamamoto Hiroto. Excellent teacher with the best way presenting his knowledge. I dont understand japanese, but still watch him on the vids without english sub. Somehow guessing what he's telling. Shimano has the best jigging tackles, definitely the leading brand in jigging. If god has sent some tackles with his jigging angel, i think god would have made those tackles more affordable for wide range of anglers around d world...arigato.

I love the video and the techniques you mention, but I have a few questions. You stated you used: Mainline: Ocea Jigger MX4#3 Leader Line: Ocea Jigger Master Fluoro, 60lb Well, I look them up because I was wondering why you were using a heavy leader line. This is what I found on both items. Mainline: Ocea Jigger MX4#3, which is 1.5mm, 300m, 25lb/11.3kg Leader Line: Ocea Jigger Master Fluoro, which is 4mm, 50m, 16lb So my questions are: (1) Was there a typo on the screen starting you used Ocea Jigger Master Fluoro, 60lb, instead of 16lb? (2) I ask many Jigger this question, and no one seems to know the answer. If it was not a typo and you did use Ocea Jigger Master Fluoro, 60lb, as your leader line, why do you use a larger leader line of 60lbs than the mainline 25lbs? Can I assume that I can force the fish in by using a larger poundage leader line, which still does not make sense! I say this because I fished Steelheads for many years on the river in Washington State. My leader line was never larger than the mainline. So I am curious about your answer. Hope to hear from you and keep jigging.

If the water depths in your area less than 150m... sku 0-3 is more than enough to you. Sku 4-6 is more into heavy jigs and very deep of water.

@@CelebesViking i am interested to have one. But one more thing, what is the significant difference compare to Game type slow J (i've already have one B683)? Except 2 piece.
@CelebesViking
@CelebesViking 5 жыл бұрын
@@joenugro that rod also a two pieces blanks... but much longer than pervious ocea jigger rods family... 6'10" means you can perform slow actions with less effort ...all day long baby lol. What i like these rod compare to most JDM's rod is.. the mid sections near the butt which is really strong. I caught almost 30lb ruby snapper and i can pump and crank without worrying its snaps.

Congratulations on the video! A curiosity...why in slow jigging fishing the hooks of the double hook bracket must face each other? Thank you! Pedro - Brazil
@TimNye850
@TimNye850 3 жыл бұрын
The idea being if fish strikes down on both the points are directed outwards. The reality is that the hooks get hung everywhere- one in the gill plate, one in the head, one in the side and one in the fin. Hooks everywhere.

Me personally used both on many situations... example on shallow water and the current not too strong PG much fun to used but if the current too strong and i mixed up my techniques slow and fast in same time HG was much prefer. On popping and fight big fish...PG much likely
