Brother I'm from Chennai i worked in shimla for few months I returned to chennai from Shimla this month 7th since I know hindi well it was easy to stay there. This year snowfall was very very less compared to last year usually snowfall happens late December if not in December then early or mid January it usually happens and in indian coffee house located in mall road the food is terrible especially south Indian food

Ajay you have superbly covered Shimla, Mall Road etc. Modern Shimla resembles a big city with high rise buildings. It has now become crowded. I had visited Shimla in October 2010. We spent two days and return journey by Toy Train from Shimla to Kalka. Too much deforestation has spoilt the Beauty of Shimla. Nature is always pristine we have to preserve them. Happy to note that you are going to come back to Kalka by Toy Train. You will really enjoy this Train Journey. All the Best.

I went to Shimla 20 Feb 2023 . First day it was bored , second day we went to kufri without intrest but unexpected snow fall there and shimla. In green valley with hailstorm it was breathtaking views. And we struck in heavy traffic for more than 2 hrs to reach 5km. It was unforgettable moments.

Hi Ajay, Shimla is not at all a worthy place. A place called kufri is the major tourist spot which is one of the worst place with full of scammers and dangerous pony rides in a slippery mud and snow terrains during winters. I don't know how Shimla became so famous spot.
