Help! I’ve been hand tying these for years, which sits right at the scalp. But doesn’t last that long. I love your pick technique but I can not get them close to the scalp at all. Is there any way that you could do a demo on a live model? I would appreciate any help.

I am confused! Help! If have fingers at the scalp how do you get the hair above it too? I hope that makes sense what I’m asking. You have extra string and “hair” in your tutorial.

How do you pull it to get the shimmer to scalp? I tie them in with my pick but my shimmerz are always a half inch away from the scalp.

There are a few things you can try. When holding the ShimmerZ and hair between ring finger and thump, try to keep them close to the "edge" of the finger and thumb. Keep the loop as tiny as possible, as close as possible. Just as you start to tighten the knot, wiggle the ShimmerZ down toward scalp a bit. It takes finese, which comes with practice and experience.
