Imma say this every time an ultima argument is brought up, Godzilla Ultima was doing a lot more than just shooting pew pew lasers and smashing buildings. I see a lot of people here lowballing Ultima because they're only looking skin deep into Ultima's physical feats, of which there wasn't much because Ultima ultimately didn't get much screen time. Godzilla in Singular Point is from everything we can see a multidimensional temporal entity coming from a different dimension, who can travel through dimensions and terraform the planet with his control over Archetype. He has abilities similar to Godzilla Earth (terraforming) and Void Ghidorah (interdimensional entity). The biggest issue with Ultima is that he lost to Jet Jaguar. But people are also vastly underselling Jet Jaguar here, conflating Jet Jaguar Invincible with the same Jet Jaguar who was street level beating up on tiny Radons and spider kaiju. Jet Jaguar Invincible is a reality-bending mech who was equipped with a trans-temporal protocol that was only made possible by computing it and arriving at the answer through the Superdimensional Calculator, going into the future to use all that time to compute the answer, and relaying the protocol back to the present. The Invincibility Protocol allowed Jet Jaguar to transcend time, space, energy and matter and break the laws of physics. That's how Jet Jaguar literally grew into gigantic size and had all manner of energy powers and speed. It made Jet Jaguar "Invincible." There was a hell of a lot more going on there than the simple pew pew people saw. That was some serious futuristic tech being used by Jet Jaguar to defeat Godzilla Ultima, and he only barely beat Godzilla while dying in the process. And it's important to note that Jet Jaguar didn't beat Godzilla Ultima physically. He defeated Godzilla by using an equation from the future, using the impossible paradox of a singular point, that allowed him to use the Orthogonal Diagonalizer to trigger an Archetype reaction that transformed Godzilla Ultima into the inert blue crystals.Physically Godzilla Ultima was untouchable, even to an invincible robot that can defy the laws of physics. Jet Jaguar Invincible literally couldn't do crap to Godzilla Ultima. And in fact we don't even know if Godzilla Ultima died to the Orthogonal Diagonalizer. Not even sure he transformed into the crystals - it's more likely the red archetype all transformed to the crystals (similar to what happened to Chalunga in India), and Godzilla Ultima was simply banished back to his home dimension (ala Void Ghidorah).

We need to understand that evolution is not an overpowered ability, evolution still goes by the laws of physics, Shin Can't instantly evolve into some universal or planetary threat. Meanwhile Ultima is an interdimensional creature with control over the archetype that blatantly defies physics, Ultima himself is a higher dimensional being, his evolution is more advanced than Shin's Also Ultima was never damaged in the film, he was only destroyed by some equation the main characters use, he's basically invulnerable unless you can go beyond physics.

things that i see wrong 1. shin is very smart at times as he can register when he needs to retreat and recharge as well as adapting near instantly to what ever he needs ultima just lazily walks around and just doesnt really adapt 2. shins beam would one shot ultima at the rate that is beam was cutting things it would be one of the hottest atomic breaths yet plus less charge time 3. shin can grow bigger arms easy if he wanted and better legs the form we see is just him adapting to stay on land and play defense 4. shins reaction time is alot better eva is fast as HELL and yet shin was able to still bite his arm in time to stop eva 5. ultima was hurt by normal bombs shin didnt really care until the bunker busters came in and still only knocked off a plate 6. shin can just make himself absorb ultimas beam like a back up energy boost plus how in the world are physical attacks gonna hurt shin when he can heal a dorsal plate and use it for an attack in an instant like a broken bone is gonna do anything 7. that radar will let shin fire the first attack before ultima knows about his presence so shin wins 8. that was ultimas final form it said nothing about him being able to evolve more while shin can just keep going so yea shin just gonna out adapt

Ultima simultaneously always views every possible future all at once. 8. Ultima can evolve more but he does have his last evolution which happens at the end of the catastrophe which is "omega Point" where he starts destroying neighbouring timelines.
