I want to say that this is typical smt...and it is. But it's also really depressing how it shows one man praying to god for 25 years and holding his faith steadfast, even with his wife, kids and friends getting killed by demons. Then the very same God comes down and says, "Fuck you, you're worthless." then tries to hit the reset button on humanity, completely not caring about the people who were faithful to him in the past. That's really just evil right there.

It's actually due to the new artist who was responsible for the stuff in IV. He draws some freaky stuff. And to be honest, it IS fitting! Bro, if you read the original depictions of angels, the Lord and etc, they're all incredibly TERRIFYING! Metatron is described as being so large that a man would take 500 years to walk his length, and that he also has 1000 wings with 1000 eyes covering each, and has 1000 mouths speaking in ALL the languages of the world, and ALL praying and praising God at the SAME TIME!!! That's absolutely HORRIFYING...but it's how he and many other beings were described, ESPECIALLY angels. So it makes sense that divine beings look this creepy. They're a level above us, we just can't understand them, so they look that way.

Being honest, I hate that Atlus made a step back with SMT5's angels, but I guess its because its a Sequel of Nocturne, but anyways, I seriously hope they use the SMT4's arcangels and angels machine design, as well as this Neo Genesis Evangelion magnificent Ángel P.D: Damn!
