Krishna was such a great character in SMT IVA. The divine powers deserved their own ending tbh. Even if the other gods were just in it for the souls, Krishna actually seemed to care about humans more than Merkhabah, Lucifer, or YHVH ever have. He's basically SMT II Lucifer.

Krishna in Java (spelled and pronounced Krêsnå) is black skinned, so it's funny when an Indian figure protested the illustration of Krishna in SMT. He did not know that a subset of Hindu mythology already illustrated him as black skinned, predating SMT. (It could be because Japan used to invade and colonize Indonesia, including Java.)

Actually, you only fight YHVH between 2 and 4 times in the entire series - in 2 and in 4A for sure, in SJ Redux if you count Shekinah as being YHVH, and as a bonus boss in the form of Ancient of Days in 4.

not really, he is the mortal reincarnation of a great god. Gods in hindu mythology sometimes visit the mortal plane by taking the avatar of a mortal human. These mortals, while retaining their divine abilities, are also mortals however they can choose to die as they wish. The dude kinda skipped some stuff about krishna knowing about his death and accepting it since he knew his work on earth was done. It was basically a way for him to go back to his divine realm.
