I play this game for 100 hours on switch and I loved it. Now I 'm playing the PS5 version and the visuals are stunning. This game is shining as it supossed to do in all its glory (4k and 60 fps) Whatever you choose to play this game, just play it, it is a great game. One of my favorites JRPG of all time with that misterious semi open world

Planning on modding my switch and I'll play it with an overclock for a locked 30 fps, the graphics don't matter much on a small screen and I have a trip I'm bringing this game for.

Nothing special? I think it is a visual feast! I first played this on the switch when it first released and I still thought it looked so cool. I’m now playing the PS5 version and oh man, you can definitely see this game come to life. To me, it still looked like the switch version but far cleaner looking and smoother.

@@deemee65 I agree it is way better. However, the general look of the game is quite similar to the switch. I finished the game on the switch and the main thing that immediately stood out to me was that it has a lower level of LOD and more pop in- what but can you expect? It’s the switch version running a UE4 game in large open areas with modern visuals.

Smt 5 vanilla always been one of the best graphic in the switch. There was no need for graphic enhancement,V only added quality of life and more content.

Can´t wait for the Swtch II. I will probably buy even more Switch Versions if it comes closer to the other console versions in terms of visuals and fps. I don´t need the best graphics, especially for JRPGs and so on... but a but more power would be nice and imo enough. I think the next Switch is probably the most important step for Nintendo´s future. Backwards compatibility is really a must imo.

This is my first foray into an SMT game. I'm okay with the FPS, and am currently struggling to defeat Shiva. :) I get a little better each time. I just realized that I need to level up everyone so we're all on the same Power Page. That is a testament to how addictive this game became for me, beating out the two Zelda games I have, AND "The World Ends With You" series.

i bought the switch version for portability, its a cartridge and won’t scratch like discs, and also because switch owners will actually own their physical games. the problem with xbox is you need internet to set up your console first time turning on otherwise its just a brick and if online servers go offline im not sure if i’ll still be able to play xbox, don’t know about ps5 thought

To be honest, I plan on playing this on my PS Portal. Seems like a nice game to enjoy with headphones on and chilling, or even on the go. Despite what most say about the PS Portal, i can truly say that IF you have your PS5 console "hardwired thru your home Ethernet connection" then you CAN indeed play your Portal "away from home via your cellphone Hot Spot" if you have that function on your phone. I game on-the-go from my Portal all the time and I have better experience with my Portal while connected to my Hot Spot far better than ehwn connected to a public Wifi such as Hotels or Coffee Shops and such. Just throwing it out there for anyone thinking curious of the Portal experience, ignore the click-baity negative reviews because I can say for sure the Portal is pretty amazing streaming device with no lag (if you have great wifi and ethernet connection) 👍

I have the original on Switch and the rerelease on PS5. The Switch version is absolutely fantastic and definitely worth the trade offs for portability. But personally, i play most of my games on my TV so this new PS5 version is great, just that extra bit of flare makes this already beautiful looking game even more stunning.
