It says "I'm fine" without saying "I'm fine" to the 10th power. Instrumentally it sounds like a dancefloor anthem type song, just get out, put your hands in the air and lose your brain to the beat. But lyrically it's anxiety ridden and depressed and tired. So this is actually beautiful in its own regard as a contradiction.

This realy takes me back to growing up in the 80's and 90's and gives that upbeat feel to a very heartfelt song. I prefer the original but this is a good mix that lets me know that being different can still be an uplifting experience in life!

Rhythm is such a funny thing... In this song the upbeat tempo is almost ironic, the ebb and flow really illustrate the anxiety roller coaster... I can see this version in a movie soundtrack... Both versions are amazing and unique in their own way... Great Job guys

A remix of this song came on the radio while me and my bf were driving around town. I already loved the original, and the remix version was fantastic. Glad to know that I'm not the only one who listens to only Shinedown most of the times, although I think I'm the only one who's doing this on this part of earth. I've been trying to share the music to my friends like playing the songs, singing with the guitar or karaoke, and apparently humans have their own way on choosing their music. As excellent as Shinedown's music is for me, for other's it might not be their cup of tea, and I understand that that's one of the symptoms of being human.

As someone who's loved Shinedown for over a decade now, their knack for reinventing their sound is my #1 reason for my enjoyment of their music. Every album is completely different different in feel from the preceding album, and hell, in some albums they flip flop between ballads and bangers and it works so well! I love this version. Love the original as well, but I love that they just took a gander at another angle we'd not heard before from them. I'm excited for the next album! I wanna see where they go next!

People really need to chill. My guys here are obviously trying to reach more people that need to hear these words. Also, a remix is not made to replace the original. It's made to create a different sound for different people who may like it more or the same as the original. Those who don't like it can certainly listen to something else, which is what I will be doing. However, when other albums like “TRUE POWER” by I Prevail, “Blacklite District - XL” by Blacklite District, and multiple songs from Citizen Soldier started to release, I listened to that a lot more, completely forgetting “PLANET ZERO”.

I 100% get the idea around the remix (I think)...to grab a slightly different audience. And, if nothing else, the lyrics alone will attract them, and hopefully introduce them to you other music...which is amazing! I know that if I had only heard this remix, that I would be inclined to do so. Personally, already knowing your music, the original is my favorite. The combination of acoustic guitar, the strings after the 1st chorus, and the piano at the end are, as I've said before, hypnotic...gives me goosebumps ❤

Interesting that many of these comments/opinions are unfavorable. Reminder this is a version not a replacement. When I listen to this song I hear the vocals and each instrument individually. They created this version in studio and (more than likely) Eric spent who knows how many hours producing this version. Musicians are creative by nature. This version, in my opinion, represents musicians being musicians. Shinedown sends out the highest vibrations but not all humans hear the vibrations on the same frequency.

I heard this song when driving away with my new car. This is my new favorite! This song really appeals to me because I was in “friendships” with narcissistic people, and they decided to make my high school career a living hell. This made My life worse because I was also abused by my narcissistic family members. Everyone thought I was this weird freakish criminal. Heard this song the other day, and it really appeals to me!
