Shinedown is an AMAZING band, saw them a few years back and I will never forget that experience. Thier cover of Simple Man (originally by Lynard Skynyrd) makes me tear up every single time I hear it.

The lead singer, Brent Smith, is absolutely amazing. Shinedown is one of my favorite bands. Incredible energy when you see them live! The guitarist, Zach Myers and Brent also do many acoustic songs which are awesome!

This is one of my absolute favorite Shinedown songs. I've been listening to them for almost 15 years now, since I was in the army and introduced to them. They have so many amazing songs, and Brent (the singer) wrote most until Zach joined'; now they're co writers I believe. Lost in the Crowd, Breaking Inside, Save Me, Sound of Madness are also in my top favorite Shinedown songs that not nearly enough reactors give attention to (imo).

My favorite band in fact I’m going to be seeing them live April 4th. My fourth concert to see them live. I subscribe because you was doing Shinedown so please do some more “cut the cord, they’ve got some new ones off their new album, Planet Zero, “Daylight, “symptom of being human”,dead don’t die”. Kathryn, I can't believe that you've never heard of Shinedown. Do you remember American Idol runner-up Chris Daughtry, he sang "I Dare You" by Shinedown as his finale song and got beaten because he just couldn't match the vocals, his voice crapped out on him on the high notes. Really sucks because he should have won. Okay, enough about Daughtry. If you thought this song was good, vocals and aĺl, this was just acoustic. Check out "I Dare You" , guaranteed you'll get the full body chills from this guys voice and the song in general totally kicks butt,

He’s gotten better at mixing in individual lines or notes of playback so that he only has to back off certain lines or notes rather than whole choruses but he is absolutely still using a lot of miming to get through their harder songs, and there are still some songs where he uses playback for the entire chorus - i dare you & diamond eyes are 2 examples
