There is heart ache and special good memories in behind this song. My oldest daughter daddy committed suicide 27yrs ago and the original one was played at his funeral and when she hears it she smiles and cries cause that her daddies song. Today my son sings the new one to his daughter and nephew which are only a few weeks apart and has done it for lil over 2yrs now and when my grandson hears it he stops everything he's doing and comes running and sings every single word to it and he's only 2 . @@jg1825 I can not knock Shinedown I love the way they did it but Skynerd with that Southern twang on this song makes it feel right. I'M JUST a bigger fan of Skynerd then Shinedown so it's my opinion thats all.
