What I love about Shinedown is their words, this group has made so many songs and every single one has a meaning behind every verse, and it is with that edgenuity and heart that Brent Smith and his crew touches so many people. I want to personally say that this band is forever both my mom and my own favorite band, and I hope you guys are still producing long after the 20 year mark. Thank you, Shinedown.

I have never listened to rock. My husband listens to it and one day devil came on the radio and it I fell in love with it. I looked up shinedown and fell in love with every song. Better late then never. I can’t stop listening to them

People might call this just another edgy emo song but when digging deep into its meaning it IS actually a very relatable song. The stuff we go through both physically and mentally in real life are “Monstrous” and tough to deal with. Especially with what is happening with the world nowadays, this song like it’s monsters are “REAL”.😞

Leave your weapon on the table, wrapped in burlap barely able. don't get angry, don't discourage, take a shot of liquid courage Leave the light on, if you're able, 'cuz we both know you're unstable. Call the doctor say a prayer, choose a God you think is fair. that's my favorite part :)

Was having a terrible week, with pain, and depression, then when I woke up on Saturday April 27th 2019, I Was wishing I was dead, just to end all the physical and mental pain I've been feeling the past 11 years. Tired of all the medications not working, and just wishing it was gone. Got in the truck to go get some food and try to regain control of my thoughts. This song came on the radio, and I hadnt heard it before, but after hearing it, it struck something with me, and I went from being that far down, to just wanting to blow off some steam and release some energy. Great song, great band. Thank You.

Very relatable line as well. Relatable song as a whole but that line really hits me.
