Thick as thieves, wow more goosebumps I can’t put an actual message to this song there is so many hidden meanings in most of Shinedown’s songs. Thick as thieves to me means there is a bind of communication that is hard to be broken like a chemistry nitrogen bond. And the bond is between human and human as well human and Mother Nature. As well as a higher power!

Everyday is a new day, but for me, my problems catch up to me now matter how fast I run, there's no way around it, I can't run forever, everyday I get slowed down by the newer problems, living in hell as synchronous pain in my heart. Stumbling to find a way out, no matter how hard I try, shinedown is a constant reminder that I can get through it, but it doesn't feal like that.
