I was devestated I did not get to see you in KC! I tried to win all kind of ways. I really just wanted to thank you for your music. In 2020 I was in a Covid-19 coma and on the brink of death. The nurses asked my daughter what kind of music I liked. Of course she said you all. They started with Attention Attention and, I’m told, they saw an immediate improvement in my oxygen and peep levels, and my heart that was beating at 30 bps (almost dead) slowly picked up the pace. The following year I attended your shows in Bonner Springs, KS, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Arkansas and later in Wichita. At every show, I was in front. When you played Get Up, I inexplicably began to sob. I didn’t understand at first but I know in my heart that song was what saved me. I get choked up just thinking about it and like so many others who your music touched, just wanted and still want to thank you face to face.I’ve been able to back to visit the doctors and nurses on my medical teams (yep 2) and was able to tell them how grateful I am for their work. Today, June 7th, 2020 is the 3rd anniversary of the day I came out of the coma. So thank you band and crew and everyone who helped make that album and those shows so great. Sending gratitude and love 🙏🏻
