Know of them , but I was at the Palmer in Alaska. I didn't go see them, I was at the fair with my family. I became a fan while I was walking around at the fair, the music was so cleanly played. my 2 kids 12 boy and 10 girl both liked the band I had to buy 3 albums in the car. im am a fan of this band!

I have 2 Shinedown tattoos! I was introduced to their music when I was 14 or 15 by my best friend Richard, and they've been my favorite ever since (I'll be 26 this year) my best friend was killed in a car accident in 2012 and "If you only knew" was our song. I didn't know how much I would need that song during such a devastating time. I hope one day I can finally meet my heros, not just for me but for my angel in the sky. In the past I was extremely into self harm and suicidal thoughts, and would've taken my own life if Shinedown wasn't there to help save me. You don't realize what you guys do. You save lives and give hope.

I am just in love with how honest they all are. Eric at the begining actually said he was annoyed walking into the interview because it was the last day off and he had to work and he didnt want to be there. I dont really know of any other person, musician or actor or celebrity that would say something like that. I appreciate that so much. I appreciate and admire anyone who can be this open and honest. Been one of my favorite bands for at least 10 years. Saw them last Friday (7-26-2024) at Thunder Valley, Lincoln CA. They were amazing! Only thing I wish they would have played Daylight. Either way it was a fantastic, high energy show! Thank you for your music!

10 years ago... I was 8 years old, I was in 2nd grade. My dad had just bought the new iPod 4th generation, he let me listen to some of his songs and he played "The Crow and the Butterfly", after that one time I never stopped listening to Shinedown, I fell in love with this band and I still am. You have taken a special place in my heart and I am so thankful you guys exist and create the music you do. I've seen you perform live twice (you guys were in fact my first concert) and I really hope I can be there for whatever the future holds for Shinedown! Thank you, Shinedown❤

I have done a lot of things in the past decade. I can to terms with who I am. I have accepted it. Working on telling my friends. Only told one person. I have a large appetite for new music. I listen to everything under the sun. I have a list of artists that I love. I found my passion. I love to create artwork. I also realized that I have mild depression and Anxiety disorders. Sometimes they get the best of me and sometimes they don't. Shinedown is one of the many artist that help me feel like its okay to me cracked. That I am not broken just cracked, because cracks can be filled in by something.

My husband and I are in our 50s and are pretty late to the party when it comes to Shinedown. But our arrival started out quite literally in unison. Often times, we’ll send each other videos of music we like. One morning, he sent me one, and before I listened to his, I sent him a video. Turns out we had sent each other the same one…..Shinedown’s “I’ll Follow You.” Last year I check their concert schedule and saw they were mainly in Europe. In November, they announced a short US tour, and we have 3rd row seats in Chattanooga. We are stoked!!

Y’all have helped me through so much tough shit and feelings. Y’all got me into rock and will probably continue to be my number one. I dealt with a lot of suicidal feelings and depression and self harm for a long time and y’all were with me throughout the entire thing whether or not you knew. I saw you guys for the 1st time in June in Jersey, you guys kicked serious ass that Friday night. I met so many Shinedown fans at that show and saw the true feeling of Shinedown concerts. Small venues are some of my favorite, I can get up close, and it feels so much more intimate. Being short it really helps when I can actually see the show too. But some of my favorite shows have been at the Varsity, in Baton Rouge. Also, we bought 4 shows that got canceled before we ever actually got to see y’all. It was so unreal, but I have probably seen y’all that many times or more now. What a journey.

Shinedown gave me the determination .. When it was time for the world to know and witness what monsters were and are created when children are beaten and abused .. Shinedown enabled myself and many others to allow our monsters to be seen as guardians and protectors instead of antisocial personality disorders ... and when the echoes of the past try and drag us back into the maelstrom of dread .. My dad introduced me to Shinedown in 2004 with their first album when I was 10/11 y.o. and they have been my favorite band since then. No matter how I change and how Shinedown changes, and through bands that I started and stopped listening to in that time, I always come back to their music. I've been privileged to see 2 live shows both my favorites of the many lives show's I've seen, but this video just solidifies my love for these guys. @Eric Bass....1st and foremost...I love Shinedown with all my heart. You and Zach, Brent & Berry ARE SHINEDOWN in my eyes. I watched this today and the love you have for UK shows are very respected. My GOD man....Download is the ultimate for a Rockstar. However, I think you might have overlooked some of the KC (Kansas City) shows where you all shined-down. Man, I have listened to and been a fan of Shinedown since before you or Zach were in the band. Shinedown back then showed up at our beloved radio station without haven eaten a meal in 3-days since they were so broke. Our beloved Program Director Bob Edwards made sure they got a solid meal and I'm sure he made sure they had a few $$$ in their pocket. It's a Midwest thing. Maybe some love where love is due is required. Regardless..you gents are loved and will be a fan forever!!!....DW

I would lightly whisper the words to Get up while I was inpatient for alcoholic withdrawal in September. Scariest experience but glad I did it. Unfortunately, I foght this demon still and find myself falling again. I drink because it helps my chronic pain from the 4 autoimmune diseases I have. I dont even like drinking only the release from bone and joint pain. Been on paid meds that did not help but God willing I am seeing some new physicians this year and I pray they help me get better not just for me but for my loving husband and son.
