And that is why Minho was literally voted best abs in Asia and was named one of the 12 hottest men in the world by Vogue magazine in the U.S. in 2015. He really won a real award for his abs. This performance of "Dynamite" in particular -- which also is from their SHINee World Concert IV (SWC4) in Seoul from 2015 -- is super iconic. He really wasn't supposed to take his shirt all the way off. If you see any other performance of this song, you will see that all he does is unbutton his shirt, but during this performance he got so swept up in the moment that he just took his shirt all the way off. Which even shocked the other members. (And just so you know, he can't put his shirt back on because it would take too much time and effort and they aren't done with this set, they go right into their next song after this. So, Minho finishes the set with just his jacket on and one button holding it closed.) However, the thing about Minho is, although he does have to work to maintain his abs, it's not that hard for him because he is an athlete. He says these days he goes to the gym a couple of times a day to work out just because he likes working out. But he is also crazy about soccer, and he plays basketball, baseball and golf, and he is good at track and field events, etc, so really his body is the product of all the sports he enjoys playing as well. Minho's father is a professional minor league soccer coach/manager for a living, so Minho got his love of soccer and sports from his dad. And not only does Minho enjoy playing sports, but he is usually the best athlete on the field and he pretty much wins every time. There is a reason why Minho's nickname is "Flaming Charisma" -- his intense passion for sports and his need to always win makes it almost impossible to beat him in any competition. His drive to be the best is so well known in the industry that everyone wants him on their team. But if you saw all the SHINee members without their shirts on you would discover they all have amazing bodies, even Onew, who is the "old man" of the group and never shows off his body because he doesn't want to have to put any extra effort into it. But I guarantee that they all have amazing physiques. You probably will never see Onew without his shirt on, he is the only member who has never done anything on camera that would require him to take his shirt off or to show off his abs. However, the members have said that Onew has "monster abs" which means he is really ripped just like the rest of the members, but he is too modest to ever show his body off in public. Even when he has been swimming on TV programs, he wears a shirt, wetsuit or rash guard. However, there is a clip of Jonghyun doing pull ups in the gym without his shirt on that would blow you away if you saw it. (Just wait until you see Jonghyun perform "Moon" in concert, kzbin.info/www/bejne/pavTlHh4hpKdask.) When you think about it, they all have to be that fit in order to be able to do all that they do -- to be able to sing and sound flawless while performing the choreography that they do, and to do it for hours straight, makes it so they are required to stay in shape. SHINee are known for the fact that they always sing live, so they have to be in top shape in order to dance like that while maintaining stable vocals the whole time. If you watch a full concert you will soon see that they can dance this intensely for 4 or 5 songs in a row and never sound out of tune, and then hold a conversation with the audience imminently after and they still won't sound out of breath.

Knowing how crazy you are with Key, I'm super excited to see how you'd react to him in these performances especially on the "floor actions" part in Dynamite lol! Seriously, Key has always been the one I watch the most during live performances. I love all of them but I'm usually drawn to him -his live vocals, expressions, attitude.. most of the time he's the one hyping the audience. So excited for the next SHINee reaction.

Would you believe that many Shawols didn't like Excuse Me Miss on the studio record? but today this is one of the most requested reactions, we always say when a song of theirs makes you think it's not for you wait until they play live lol like RDD and Lucifer live performances make all the differences Fan fact in Dynamite when Minho took his shirt off the first time no one expected this including the members you can find a video showing Jonghyun in shock when he did this he was supposed to sing after Minho rap and Onew had to call him lol

Definitely agree with RDD MV (never cared for auto tune) and much prefer the RDD + Lucifer live performance. Also, as great as Sherlock MV is, there’s something better about hearing “Shinee’s back” in the live setting.

I totally agree with concert performances being better than comeback stages!! There are rare exceptions, for example in the song Odd Eye that the comeback stage is much better than the live performance, but this is rare in the case of SHINee. I understand you about Onew, he is cute and shy and slowly conquers us without us realizing it 😁 Jonghyun is my bias, but Onew became my wrecker in the group 😱 About the songs, Excuse Miss is one of the songs that I consider mandatory for all people to know live! The other song that I consider mandatory is Sherlock in that same concert (SWC4)! I'm also not a person who's super attracted to very muscular people, but we have to admit that Minho looks amazing in Dynamite performance 👀 Thx so much for your wonderful reactions!!! 💖✨

I really like your reaction to SHINee. It's so on point and not overly reacted just for the viewers to feel happy (if you know what I mean). We know their vocals are great but each song is different, so their amazing vocals should be acknowledge in each song. It makes me happy when reactors keep it real with their reaction. This performance of "Excuse Me Miss" was from SHINee's SHINee World Concert IV (SWC4) in Seoul in 2015. However, the song was originally released in 2013. And yep, still timeless. This is the concert where the majority of SHINee's best live performances are from, and I guarantee that your viewers will eventually request you react to every song and every stage from this concert, because that's how iconic this concert is. If you watch this full set or, even the full concert, you will see why Jonghyun goes into that phone booth at the end. (Each of them are going to their own phone booth on stage.) They are about to perform their next song, "One minute back." And you also really need to see their performance of "Close the Door," Which they performed right before "Excuse Me Miss." Fun fact: The live performance is an extended version of the song. If you pay attention, right before Jonghyun, "went off" what he said in English is, "This is a new bridge, listen." SHINee are one of the top groups that are known for the fact that they all can do it all. They are a group of 5 amazing vocalists, 5 impressive dancers, 5 visuals, 5 rappers, 5 top actors, and 5 of the most talented and unique voices in all of Kpop. Their main vocalists are pretty good rappers and their rappers can fill in as main vocalists at anytime. Once you get to know their voices you will always be able to pick them out of a crowd just by the sound of their voice. Most Shawols will tell you we can tell who is speaking or singing within 1 second even with our eyes closed with them standing in a crowd of screaming fans. I can tell who is singing every line of their songs even if it's a brand new song that I have never heard. Each of their voices are that unique -- there is no one with a voice like any of theirs. That is why they are "The Princes of Kpop". EVERY time SHINee performs a song it will be different than what you have experienced before. That is why SHINee are one of the best performers in the industry. SHINee live is just as good the 100th time you see them perform a song as they are the first time you see it because they always make it unique. You never get tired of their songs because they know how to make it seem like a whole new experience every time. SHINee literally set the standard when it comes to live performances. It is actually known as the SHINee standard and it's what all other groups strive to reach. SHINee are Idol's Idols and legends among legends for a reason. They are one of the groups that pretty much made Kpop what it is today. Someone has reuploaded the whole concert DVD of SHINee World Concert IV in Seoul -- the whole 3+ hours -- and it even has English subs for all the parts where they interact with the audience, right in the video, kzbin.info/www/bejne/bIXOn4KCmtiImZY. It really feels like you are right there at this concert. You should watch this whole concert sometime on your own, even if you can't react to it. :D You really can't fully grasp just how magnificent of performers SHINee are until you watch a full concert from beginning to end and see what makes a SHINee concert so unique.

I definitely agree with you on concert performances being so much better than comeback stages, it’s completely incomparable. SHINee are known for their concert performances for a reason! However… someone already said it in the comments, one of the rare exceptions with music shows performances is Odd Eye (Inkigayo one), it’s a must see. The concert version is actually more tame and surprisingly not filmed that well. So if you’re going to watch it (and trust me, as a Kibum fan you NEED to see it, he rules the performance!), watch Inkigayo stage ^^

Comeback stage performances are entirely programmed cameras, there are no camera persons involved with the live performance, except for the close-up camera. They base it on rehearsal, pre-timed to the vocals, that's why members literally wear their names on themselves during the dry runs. Whenever you see full cam performances [the vocals are usually not the "perfect" version], you'll see cameras on the tracks, cameras on huge arms and possible one or two cameras running into the killing point and the ending fairy moments. Then in production, its digitally timed to the back tracks, and if the artist has decent live vocals [each artist tunes their live vocals to their own back tracking vocals based on a percentage], it's all digitally mixed and that's what we hear. It can be sterile. Some concerts are the same, but with artists like SHINee, that is NOT the case - we get LIVE LIVE LIVE vocals.

I am not finished watching, but your „Taemin is braver than me“-comment regarding eyecontact with Jjong had me thinking: well Tae DID perform internet war with shirtless, oily/sweaty Jjong.
