As everyone is lusting over Minho's body, I want to remind everyone how hard he worked for it. He was on diet for 2 months, eating the same meal every day. He said this on SHINee's SWC 4 DVD: "Actually, diet menu tasted so bad and it was really hard but I wanted to look at fans' happy faces and hear their cheers. So, I've been only thinking of it. I bore and prepared for the concert even though it was tough and painful." >This is from their SWC 4 DVD Photobook: ---What is your reason behind selecting a sexy performance when showing your individual talent in SHINee World 4? M: There was an opinion that came out which was “Why don’t we show a sexy performance during the dance highlight at the latter half of the concert?” for my individual talent part. So I said “Then, I will make my body properly with determination”. I ate only chicken breasts and vegetables for nearly three months. With hardly any saltiness. I occasionally ate meat when it became too difficult. What was surprising was, the first 2-3 days were really hard but it was manageable after time passed as I got used to it. ---You did frequently hear that ‘your body is good’ before right? M: Yes. I did hear a bit. But men also have a lot of burden when showing their body too. I am especially unwilling when showing my skin anywhere. But this is SHINee’s concert. Our fans gather to see SHINee so I thought ‘If my fans are having fun, this is nothing’. I strived to focus on showing a good body. ---Why are you unwilling to show your skin if your body is this good? M: I can show if my fans want it but do I even have to show it other people? I am not an easy guy! Haha. ---You must have had a hard time managing your diet. When was the hardest time? M: We tend to eat late night meals when we practice choreography overnight. I ate chicken breasts and salads too but I couldn’t eat together with SHINee members in one table. They teased saying ‘Chicken breasts smell disgusting. Go somewhere else and eat’. So I ate separately in loneliness watching members eating delicious food. I ate little by little after the Seoul concert ended. SHINee World 4 Tour was done too sparsely so it was too hard to maintain that diet. ---Then once more? Do you have intentions on doing a sexy performance once again? M: I reject. It was so hard. Once is enough. If I was told I had to do it again? I might die. Haha. ---I think you faced lots of crisis that made you want to quit your diet. How did you overcome that difficulty? M: I did have many crises. I didn’t even drink any alcohol during the three months. Not being able to drink alcohol was bearable but it was mentally strenuous during stagnation. It was during when I thought if I exercise a little more, my body would be better but no matter how hard I exercised my body remained the same. And that is why Minho was literally voted best abs in Asia by a U.S. magazine. I can't remember which magazine it was, but he really won a real award for his abs. This performance of "Dynamite" in particular is super iconic. He really wasn't supposed to take his shirt all the way off. If you see any other performance of this song, you will see that all he does is unbutton his shirt, but during this performance he got so swept up in the moment that he just took his shirt all the way off. Which even shocked the other members. However, the thing about Minho is, although he does have to work to maintain his abs, it's not that hard for him because he is an athlete. He says these days he goes to the gym a couple of times a day to work out just because he likes working out. But he is also crazy about soccer, and he plays basketball, baseball and golf, and he is good at track and field events, etc, so really his body is the product of all the sports he enjoys playing as well. Minho's father is a professional minor league soccer coach for a living, so Minho got his love of soccer and sports from his dad. And not only does Minho enjoy playing sports, but he is usually the best athlete on the field and he pretty much wins every time. There is a reason why Minho's nickname is "Flaming Charisma" -- his intense passion for sports and his need to always win makes it almost impossible to beat him in any competition. His drive to be the best is so well known in the industry that everyone wants him on their team. But if you saw them all without their shirts on you would discover they all have amazing bodies, even Onew, who is the "old man" of the group and never shows off his body because he doesn't want to have to put any extra effort into it. But I guarantee that they all have amazing physiques. You probably will never see Onew without his shirt on, he is the only member who has never done anything on camera that would require him to take his shirt off or to show off his abs. However, the members have said that Onew has "monster abs" which means he is really ripped just like the rest of the members, but he is too modest to ever show his body off in public. Even when he has been swimming on TV programs, he wears a shirt. However, there is a clip of Jonghyun doing pull ups in the gym without his shirt on that would blow you away if you saw it. (Just wait until you see Jonghyun perform "Moon" in concert. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pavTlHh4hpKdask) When you think about it, they all have to be that fit in order to be able to do all that they do -- to be able to sing and sound flawless while performing the choreography that they do, and to do it for hours straight, makes it so they are required to stay in shape. SHINee are known for the fact that they always sing live so they have to be extremely fit in order to sing live and dance the way they do without showing any flaws. If you watch a whole concert you will soon see that they can dance this intensely for 5 or 6 songs in a row and never sound out of tune, and then hold a conversation with the audience imminently after and they still won't sound out of breath.

Haha told ya SHINee can pull off all kinds of genres and concepts including sexy and seductive ones! SM is literally full of crackheads who just never follow the standard norm and cannot be restrained that SM almost just lets them do whatever they want. Within SHINee, Minho and Onew are considered to be a bit more reserved whereas Jjong and Taemin especially have gone shirtless on stage countless of times. During this tour, Minho worked hard on his body and in other shows he only showed his abs with his shirt still on. But his trainer told him that his shoulders and back look amazing that he had to show them off. That's why in this particular stage, he ripped everything off that Jjong had a complete shock at the side and it was this performance of his gained him the best abs title by Cosmopolitan magazines.

The cover of Seo Tai ji's Internet War has also many heart-stopping moments, even if you do not like heavy metal, plus the performance is also a good example of how SHINee differs from other groups.
