Onew never get angry with his members, he is a soft leader. When he feel the needs to remind or 'scold' the members, he just taps their hands, fingers or any part of the member's body and discreetly make them know to behave well. For example, during interview Onew remove Taemin's hand from his pocket secretly as putting hands in the pockets might be seen as rude and impolite. When the members busy chatting when other member talking, he just show hand gesture or whisper to them and then the members will behave. When asked why he never scold or reprimand the members, he said why he need so? the members listen and behave well. After all, the members have huge respect and love for their leader.

3:11 - These two episodes of Weekly Idol were hilarious from start to finish. I loved every bit of it, including this section that was shown here - Taemin so focused on cutting the cake, Taemin's commenting about Minho's facial hair and him and Onew giggling over it, his hilariously odd suggestion to shave it off with the knife (I think Minho looked genuinely scared for a moment, LOL)... and then his inability to keep a straight face while Key's trying to talk. One of my favorite parts was Key's suggestion to blur out Taemin's face until he was done talking... and the show actually did blur out his face. 🤣 🤣 🤣 SHINee's always been so hilarious on variety shows, and I love seeing their episodes.

I think few of the reasons why Teamin is between Onew and Jonghyun is - so that he will never be out of place or left behind - they can discreetly guide and show him - and at the same time he can observe both hyungs during their starting years.
