At the end of the song minho whispered you did well to jonghyun. The from now on concert was done two months after jonghyuns passing. With jonghyuns mom and sisters blessing and them being there to support the boys the four boys, five mics, tears and hardship they got through it like the true artist they are. You should try and react to this it is one of the best concerts I have ever seen. This also shows shinee our love and support during a hard time in there life. As you can see, out of all Kpop songs in existence, SHINee's "Our Page" is one of the most important songs to know what the lyrics are about. Every word of the song was wrote by the members and it is all about Jonghyun.The lyrics make reference to things that Jonghyun said to them in the letter he left them when he died. Every word is talking about their relationship as a group and their relationship with Jonghyun.The song and lyrics are a tribute to him and the more than 10 years the members spent together as a group. Just so you know, this isn't the official MV. The official MV doesn't have subs. I just want to point out that the speed of the song and MV was not designed specifically to make it easy to read the lyrics. What you watched was the MV with fan subs, posted on a fan page, not SM's channel. However, SM created an official lyric video, which is posted on SM's !t Live channel, kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5uTl6qHqbpmgcU. SM intended for viewers to read the lyrics and take it all in and then watch the MV. Not saying there is anything wrong with the version you watched, but SM's plan was to keep the two seperate so that viewers would focus all their attention on both parts of this song. That's how important this song and MV is. As the lyrics say, "We'll stick together through thick and thin, When I look back on the road we've traveled, The five of us holding hands and shedding tears together, The memories are so clear, I never want to forget it. And can never forget it ...", etc. If you know their backstory, than it should be fairly easy to understand that they are talking about Jonghyun and everything they have been through in the past 10 years. As the chorus says, "The beautiful words you've left behind (referring to the letters Jonghyun wrote to them before he died), Are like a poem and have become a song. (Jonghyun's words and thoughts have become lyrics to this song, as well as dozens of other songs he wrote throughout his lifetime, etc.) We raise our voices high, Knowing that it'll reach up to where you are (Their voices will reach Jonghyun in Heaven) When the stars fade, will it all be forgotten? (They are saying, they will never let their star fade so that Jonghyun will never be forgotten, and they will keep on living to keep his memory alive, etc.), You were so special to me, so I hold you close (Talking directly to Jonghyun),This page in the novel has yet to end (The song is called "Our Page", so they are talking about telling their story and creating the pages of their novel that has yet to end because they are still writing it every day.) I want to stay together until the end (Taemin has always said that he never wants SHINee to break up and that he wants them to still be together even after they are married with children and are in their 50s, 60s, 70s)," etc. In the story in "Our Page" the members are just trying to go about their everyday lives in a world that no longer makes sense to them. It is showing them grieving Jonghyun's death. This song is very powerful and full of meaning. The message each of them sings about is very personal to them -- they each wrote their own lines -- and it's about their journey as a group and how much impact Jonghyun had in their life. And, as the members have said, it's about all the things they wish they could have told Jonghyun, etc. "Our Page" is epic because it should be epic. It was the song that made Shawols feel like it was finally OK to start to get back to a little bit of normal again. It was a moment of collective catharsis for everyone within the fandom and it showed us that the members were finally ready to get back to what they loved and they were more dedicated then ever to continue on as a group. I feel like people miss so much of the meaning and story in the MV if you don't know what the lyrics are about. In the MV, in the beginning you see each of the members struggling just to carry on with everyday life. But because they have no other choice, they all decide that the only way to honor Jonghyun's memory is to continue on. So you see Onew get back to composing songs (Jonghyun was the songwriter of the group so, this scene also is supposed to invoke memories of him as well), Taemin goes back to the gym (Jonghyun also spent a lot of time in the gym, so this was also Taemin's way of connecting with Jonghyun.) Minho is one of the top actors in Korea and when Jonghyun died he was on set filming for a drama, so we see Minho trying to get back to his normal routine and back to filming. And Key is one of the members, besides Taemin, who is known for his dancing, so you see him getting back to the dance studio and practicing the choreography for his solo debut album. Fun fact: We didn't know that what we saw in this MV was a secret reveal of Key's choreography for his debut solo releases, but since then, now that Key's album and MVs have come out, we realize that this was the choreography for one of his solo songs. The background beat of the song is supposed to represent the heartbeat of the group, the heartbeat of the fans, everything that kept the members moving forward and what brings them together as a group, etc. Every part of this song was done very purposefully and deliberately. As you know, the green/aqua blue light you see all around them is SHINee's fan color, and it represents how Jonghyun is always all around them and how he is calling them back to the stage. The light washes over the members representing how the fans' love, support and solidarity within the fandom gives the members the strength to carry on and to continue as a group. At one point you see each of the members standing still in a room while the world around them continues on. This represents how their world came to a standstill when Jonghyun died and how for a while it felt like their world stopped while everyone else continued living their lives. As they climb the stairs to the stage you see the lights come on one by one, I like to think that was each of the fans sending their support to encourage them to keep moving forward. And then once on stage you see the members all standing on stage with the one empty mic stand in the center that represents Jonghyun. And at the end, if you listen closely, you hear Minho whisper, "You did well," which is a reference to Jonghyun's request in his final letter, "Please, tell me that I did well." That is why you will often see fans say "You did well" on comments that have to do with Jonghyun. Fun fact No. 2: Just like SHINee's "1 Of 1" MV was 5:25 long because it was supposed to represent how SHINee debuted 5/25/08, "Our Page" was 5:10 long because it was a reference to the fact that SHINee will forever be a group of 5 and this album is celebrating their 10th anniversary. So, this album, The Story of Light, is all about Jonghyun and every main track song has something to do with what they went through in the 5 months leading up to this album release, etc. For SHINee's 10th anniversary they released 3 albums -- Ep. 1, Ep. 2 and Ep. 3 -- with 5 songs each, as part of a trilogy that make up The Story of Light. The main track songs and MVs for each album are connected. As you have heard, "Good Evening" is about SHINee's grieving process and the way the public sees them. "I Want You" is about learning to find happiness again and how they are personally dealing with everything that happened and "Our Page" is the members telling Jonghyun's and their story. Then "Countless" wraps the whole story up and marks the beginning of a new chapter in SHINee's career.

What you said - moving forward, but carrying Jonghyun with them - resonates so much. I'm grateful when this MV is shared in such an open-hearted and respecting way. I discovered Jonghyun a year ago and fell hard and fast and permanently. That was early in my kpop journey and I knew practically nothing about Shinee at that point. As I was learning more about Jonghyun, I ended up watching this MV (my first Shinee video). The love and grief and determination to keep honoring the dream of all five of them is so palpable in this and it's such a beautiful and heartwrenching tribute - I had no clue who the members were when I watched this, but by the end of the video I had become a Shawol (and I've never been a committed fan of any particular band before). The more I've seen of Shinee, together and individually, the more I respect them and take delight in their characters and talents and their bond with each other. This MV and your thoughts about it speak to that. Thank you for this! 5hinee is truly special.

Our Page is such a beautiful letter from the members to Jonghyun.. (the members wrote the lyrics) like a sweet promise.. SHINee's story as five will continue on. Jonhyun and SHINee's music will continue on. Their story has not ended yet. 💖

I almost didn't watch this because I couldn't when it first came out. It was just too heart breaking. I'm glad I decided to finally watch though; I think watching it with someone else made it a little easier to bear. This M/V is so beautiful and so sincere and so heartfelt. The tribute was powerful; I really appreciate the lyrics. Shinee will always be a 5-member group because they will always carry him in their hearts, and they will always remember. Just powerful.

Our Page is a beautiful song and music video but I'm really liking the vocals and ad-libs with the most beautiful harmonies but watching Is definitely hard especially when you're not familiar with Shinee as a whole

Is it just me, or does their vocals sound just a hair lower than normal? As fr the song...yeah. I love that SHINee did their comeback on their own terms. I think Our Page is such a beautiful song, one that ends up on an upbeat note. As Key said, Acknowledge what happened and move on. And as Jjong said, Look in the mirror and cry when you need to. ♥

Each scene is something that Jonghyun loved so each member took that and put it into the mv. Minho - acting ( Jonghyun loved to watch movies) Taemin - the gym. ( Jonghyun loved to exercise and train) Key - dancing ( Jonghyun loved to dance ) Onew - composing ( Jonghyun loved to compose and write songs) If you check out the story of light albums especially the one with the fox on the cover ( it represents Jonghyun) there are songs dedicated to jonghyun on them by each member. Find the song mv's which hold a well in the mv. You will see both a fox running alongside them and Jonghyus shadow inside the well on the wall. Can't remember the titles of them all but I think two of them was good evening and I want you... Like I said look then up. also Taemins monologue which has no mv. Only live check that out with the English translation it's his own song for jonghyun
