I've been a shawol since 2009 and remember the struggle of streaming a lot of their shows w no subs, being frowned upon coz Kpop was a new thing in the scene, setting multiple timers to catch live streams in a different timezone or just lining up hours to buy limited physical albums on some faraway store. Being int'l fan surely was challenging back then but being a shawol is so so worth it. Congrats to my boys and cheers to all new and old shawols, we've chosen the best group!!

i used to get scammed, I was so young and my mother would not let me use her card Because we did not have a lot of money growing up. So I used to have to buy knock offs or hand me down items from People who claimed that they Sold merchandise aka scammers And I'm also from the south where K-pop is not the norm Especially 10 to 15 years ago. I remember people used to make fun of me, They did not want to be my friend or sit next to me Because they thought I had a problem. I remember During one of my computer classes, I had to minimize the tab And listen on low Because I recall People snatching the mouse to ridicule my favorite songs, Which at the time was SHINee,SNSD, and SJ. I used to write my essays about SHINee AND being a huge fan. Now I've got a kid and I would love for her to be just as invested as i am/was.SHINee is art, peace, serenity and so much more

I love these boys so much. I like kpop but one thing that usually bothers me is the lack of freedom of idols who have to keep a "perfect" image and how sometimes it can feel "fake" or standardised. So seeing SHINee talk more freely and being open and honest about their past selves, their mistakes and worries, their fights and the first awkwardness between them really brings a sense of authenticity and comfort as it does show how close they got ever since. They feel like actual family and I'll always support the five of them

Happy 16th anniversary SHINee, its been 16 years for me too. I never regret any of my life in my highschool days listening to SHINee. Back then their song, reality show, anything with SHINee always help me went through hard times. Until now im already working adult i found myself when going through hard time ill always look for SHINee video, concert to comfort me. SHINee to me is a safe space where i find comfort. Hopefully SHINee will always stay healthy and happy.

Wah this realy brings back all the old memories. Omg!! That photo was from one of the fansite! We don’t get that now in music shows. But just look at that quality. Got into Kpop in 2009 due to BOF (which coincidentally had an OST by SHINee), and got into the Shawol life since 2011 and nvr left. Immensely grateful for how the 5 of them stuck by each other for all these years and for putting the team first irregardless of what they do. SHINee was a part of my youth and will forever be a part of my adult life till the end of the world. So long they keep shining, i will always journey alongside them.

That's because 5 boys (to MEN) since 2008, took risks in music, different genre's, fashion and dance/choreo, starting trends and touching the hearts of so many with your beautiful God given VOICES! Your live stage performances cannot be matched. I don't care what people say, SHINee will forever be the model of hard work and greatness/legends in the Kpop industry (the new Gens look up to and learn from). Us here in the U.S.A. are dreaming of a world tour soon! I say this so much (some may be tired of it) but SHINee 16+ years in the industry and still on 🔥!!
