Nice. Don't remove the indicator bulbs as this may throw an error code. Instead, cover the indicator bulbs with thin layer of silver foil; - then if you want this as a permanent feature you can very carefully use a fine dremel and take the bumper edge down slightly. Also get a spare set of led strip's in case these ever need replacing. If you don't want to do any cutting because it is a very nice car, maybe try a heat gun (not too hot) to try and make the edges malleable to help persuade a better fit. It does look very classy.

@@mturawa like 2 weeks. Lmao. The issue is that once you cut it, you have to seal it up. If you dont, water gets in and fucks it up. Thats what happened. I meant to try again, but I just didnt get around to it. Honestly, just going to buy aftermarket lights that have dtrl. It looks okay, it depends on the car. My 08 mazda 6, it looked okay. But i rather have it off imo.

Dorman quick splice are the best automotive wire connectors ever. No need to strip insulation or cut wire. Tap into existing wire by nesting existing wire in cradle area of connector, insert other wire and snap lid closed. No need to solder or tape. Connectors are small to get into tight places. Completely reversible. The connections are made by slicing blade creating minimal damage to insulation and conductors yet creates a firm grip with reliable conductivity.

I like it how it styles. It makes your corolla very nice and clean. It's the best one of the modified corolla I've ever seen. However, I'd say this "external LED strip" is a temp installation. I'd plan on getting your headlight retrofitted. Retrofitted headlight is more ideal and permanent. I paid $600 to get my civic's headlight retrofitted. You pay to play. Anyway, Great job and keep up good work.

Try loosening the headlight nuts, then push the bumper in to its correct position then tighten the nuts to the headlight.

Not really man Toyota has had that look for about the same amount of time. They also had that same look for the Zelas line, or TC line the same year it came out. I've had the 9th gen civic and now I have the Zelas. I have to admit the Corolla looks damn great like this.

I want to do this on a Mazda 3 2012 hatchback, however, any ideas to how would I wire a car that has lights on the boot as in when you lift the boot the lights are separated so to get the continuous water flow indicator look would I need a delay or just wire one strip to the other strip and then wire that to the indicator terminals, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks guys and great video!!!
