I bought the 2021 Corolla XSE and we are installing these lights today. (had plumbing to fix in the house today) We got the trunk lights in and it was really hard to get the fender lights out! We did take your advice and pull backwards on the lights and NOT out, away from the car. We will finish up tomorrow. Very helpful video!

I like this mod and just did it to mine. I would not just let the cross wires just hang, they could be secured to the wiring harness. Also wrap any wires with 1/4 inch Split Wire Loom Tubing Wire Conduit - Black or appreciate size. You don’t want chafing and a short.

⚠️Attention⚠️ My notes on the install: •At 2:40 you dont need to unplug the lightbulbs • It took me about 4 hrs and 10 mins but that's only because I like to take my time and do it right. Don't let this hinder you. • I had two extra screws left over • I placed all the screws that were like each other in little bags and wrote the time in the video on the bag that he took those same kind of screws off. In this way I didn't get confused when resinstalling them. •Most of the plugs you need to squeeze them to unplug them.
