Excellent tutorial and a pleasure to watch. The radius of the stretch not only makes it look good, because of the tilt of the bricks gravity will always push them together, which makes it all possible. Self-supporting structures are one of the most fantastic things in brickwork IMO.

Plenty of excellent bricklayers in North America. I think what your saying is more of a social commentary about the bar sliding all over the world in almost any facet. I've worked with bricklayers from all over the world...some acceptional, some complete chancers

@@mastersamurai7683 it’s actually more of a political thing on levels beyond belief or even attempting to explain to most Americans now would be almost impossible Those who know KNOW I was in the woke broken no merit no standards liberal run BAC union for 3 decades and could tell So many things that would be beyond belief to most Real tradesmen in so many other countries. There’s obviously respect sense and sensibilities and Sanity in Merit based High Standards Nations Like England and a few others I see on U tube. The only ones who really make money and have year round employment job security etc are the Union representatives business agents and whoever else and I have No idea ( even after 30 years) what most of those self entitled golf course boys do ( except travel around and play golf) it’s quite mind boggling to me seeing how radically extremely different the bricklayer trade is like so many other skill trades Standards are non existent nowadays in America and that’s the main reason why a guy like TRUMP is So popular now no matter how hard the liberal owned media tries to trash him

@toecutter1015 without a long winded retort I'll agree by saying, wow...we speak the same language. I would have a slightly more conspiratorial explanation in which I believe this is all being made to happen and there's no difference between the left and right, it's the illusion of choice. The powers that be are simply explaining to us how we got where they had planned all along. Back to bricklaying. I think it's a lot about perception and personal integrity. If you don't know what a good bricklayer is and aren't taking the steps to get there...your ignorant. Personally I'm always trying to get better and learn as much as possible. We're a very sick and poisoned society and most can't see the forest for the trees.

@@mastersamurai7683 if I were to attempt to explain the corruption sleaziness Race baiting and so many other political engineered things that have been going on for over 60 years now to the very liberals who benefit from it They would Not even attempt to understand it or even try to call me a conspiracy theorist or much worse Anyone who Speaks out about “The System “ automatically sounds that way to many But Without Standards and a merit based system There’s got to be another type of system in its place Which is “ the swamp “ that the USA is now. I was racially discriminated against ( just like So many others) in America for being a White Male My own “ union “ would never let anyone become a union contractor who would actually do the work themselves especially specialty skills type stuff Ive been on many jobs over the decades ( long since retired now) where I could have Easily done the entire simple thing myself and had way better tools and equipment way better safer scaffolding etc than most of the sleazy corrupt contractors and made more money in a few weeks than I make all year but liberal run controlled unions like the BAC won’t allow it They use union jobs for Dumping grounds for Special needs affirmative action and the Dreaded Create a jobs Literally Fake people fake tradesmen fake contractors fake teachers fake whatever I worked with guys older than me way back who came from generations of tradesmen immigrants Who in Any other country would probably have been Contractors with their Sons and whoever else who Actually Does the Work. Skills and generations of knowledge have No place in the Fake News liberal system they don’t mix well with arrogant clueless self entitled ones. Union contractors get away with charging millions for nonsense epoxy injection urethane injection all kinds of Chemical garbage injections into hair line cracks in concrete 3 stories below ground and all kinds of other snake oil . Liberals in America are So Spoiled Rotten from getting away with murder for So long now that they have become entitled beyond belief and as far as the left vs the right Yeah in a way you are right depending on what state or area it doesn’t matter States like NY ( one of the worst) will always be liberal and will only get worse and it doesn’t matter who’s in the president office We who are left that actually care about the trades realize that we needed someone like Trump 30 plus years ago shits way too far gone now and the changes needed would be way too “ Radical “ for broken USA but we appreciate anyone who speaks out politically about the Swamp draining The fact that Liberals have a problem with “Make America Great again “ Why?? Liberals are hell bent on destroying the nation Open Borders Let Them Loot Mexican border jumpers on Union jobs getting on the job training with their faces all covered like bandits in a country loaded with seasonal workers struggling I have decades of unbelievable shocking no standards no Safety No inspectors Ever pictures of Shit Work by anyone’s standards outside America I need to get someone to Put some of it out on u tube for the world to see
