You can literally use the same melted wax to set candle wick in place. I have done this every time I make candles. When you boil the wax, dip the end of the wick in it, then put in the glass or jar or whatever you' re using to make the candle in, then secure with the wick holder. And that's it! It dries really fast, and after that you can pour the rest of the wax inside.

@theoutdoorstheodds45032 жыл бұрын
Your vid is so calming to watch. I have a few question, i hope you can enlighten me. 1. What happens if we put the stainless jug directly over the fire instead of using double broiler? 2. What other wax do you use for your candles and which one is the most affordable? 3. How do we know if a certain jug is heat resistant? Thanks shin!
@Rio-ce6rr Жыл бұрын
1-its probably the same case as chocolate, if you put it in water directly it may burn or you wont get the result you want 2- idk sorry 3- its mostly written in the box that the jug came in, if you don't have the box, you can risk it if you don't mind losing it😭 however, i think most metal jugs are heat resistance Ik i am not the one who made the vid i just wanted to answer your questions :>

Hi! Is it really required to buy a thermometer and a pot boiler? Can I use some alternatives and adjustments to these things? Ty. Anyone could answer. ☺️
@aspengrey18982 жыл бұрын
It's really required to have those in order to measure the temperature of your wax and when to mix it with your scented oils. For boiler pot, it's used to melt wax when you are at home and when you don't have a machine boiler. It's also used as a pot where you mix your sents and pour them into candle jars.
@briggsibifubara2 жыл бұрын
@@aspengrey1898 can’t I just use a regular pot to melt the wax?
