@@Dstryrr you're talking about root. The hokage's anbu is half the reason konoha remained stable in terms of security throughout most of naruto's life excluding the pain and war arcs. I'm pretty sure one of the reasons orochimaru's destroy konoha plan wasn't as effective as it should have been is because most of the anbu wasn't caught by the stadium genjutsu, otherwise it would literally have been just guy and kakashi fighting all of the sand and sound ninjas involved in the attack.

Man, seeing Naruto answer that phone for this sort of thing reminds me of being an XO in the Army. Always with the Commander, the phone calls he would get at all hours of the evening and night that he, 1SG and I would have to deal with until the early hours of the morning, only to get up at 0500 and do it again...good memories, but a tough job.
