I'm ok with the war arc ngl, there was some bullshit and even to this day i think the all Otsutsuki thing was a bad idea (Madara as a final boss was perfect) but that arc still gave lot of iconic moment, and the all dead brought to life gave some top tier confrontation, Itachi and Nagato, Asuma and Zabuza coming back were incredible and was a smart way to make Madara come back PS: Tho i still wonder what was Obito's original plan, Kabuto did the heavy lifting in the war and him joining was a late addition, Obito and his white zetsus would have been crushed by the alliance easily idk what he thought declaring war

Could write an entire essay on this fight lol. Obito is clearly more powerful. Think of it in terms of weight classes in boxing: Obito is a middleweight fighting a welterweight in Kakashi. Hence, Obito clearly hits harder, but Kakashi has more skill, and it shows. However, Kakashi is far more emotionally charged which affects his coordination, and whenever he starts to get less coordinated, Obito gets him. Then he clears his head and begins to win again. It's hard to tell if Kakashi let himself be pierced in a non-fatal spot so as to get through Obito's defense a la Jin and Kariya from Samurai Champloo, or if Obito aimed for a non-fatal spot himself. I do believe that Obito never intended to kill Kakashi, but he did definitely want to incapacitate him. That's what he tried to do behind the mud wall, but Kakashi was ready, so he had to improv. They both took crazy risks in letting themselves get stabbed. A little to the left and Obito might have pierced a vital organ of Kakashi, while he allowed himself get to the verge of death with the dagger to the heart. But Obito needed his heart pierced because of that seal, and it said something about his trust in Kakashi's skill that he was damn certain that Kakashi would be able to do it.

He took advantage that he got stabbed to remove the seal, he didn’t plan on it from the get go vs Kakashi specifically. He tried to kill Kakashi all throughout the war which can be proven easily. He could’ve had almost anyone else remove the seal later if he wanted.

Also he is way stronger than kakashi as proven by him basically fighting the 4 of them by himself for quite a while. All those times he tried to kill kakashi he woulve but kakashi was saved. If he could get so many openings on him then why couldn't he in a 1v1?

Nah, Obito tried to kill Kakashi here. He jumped at Kakashi in attempt to kill him until the clone stopped him, and he tried to kill Kakashi many times throughout the war. It’s misinformation that Obito simply let Kakashi win here, he simply took advantage of Kakashi stabbing him at this time. There’s no reason any other ninja couldn’t have stabbed Obito to remove the seal later, it didn’t have to be Kakashi. The claim that he didn’t want Kakashi killed is easy to disprove at various points in the war and even in this fight itself, which I can list anytime you want. Also, in the manga, Kakashi kicked his ass a lot harder.

All of Obito’s major feats are due to some kind of outside amp like zetsu or Kamui, and you haven’t disproven anything I said. This fight is Obito without Kamui, with wood style too weak to help on his own and inability to use rinnegan effectively. He got stabbed and decided to take advantage of it, nothing more. He could’ve let himself get stabbed right away if he wanted to let Kakashi win, but he didn’t. He wanted to kill him like he did the other million times he tried to kill Kakashi during the war. He could’ve let anyone stab him whenever he wanted to remove the seal, he wanted Kakashi dead here which is easily proven.

Genjutsu was shown to be useless since Kakashi also possessed the sharingan and Obito isn’t Itachi. Even Itachi resorted to Tsukuyomi to take out Kakashi, and Obito is far beneath that in genjutsu. You’re the one who knows nothing, Obito is nothing without Kamui or Zetsu suit, and couldn’t even handle the rinnegan well at all. @@pain6638 that doesn't make any sense, if the hole was bigger he is definitely not surviving like he did unless someone helps him even if it's not the heart, he won't be walking with a hole as big as obito's, obito has many tricks but it was definitely a tie in this fight, kakashi used to beat him when they were kids but now obito is much better than kakashi, his visual powers are the best, kakashi was never that good he is just smart, and got boosts from obito throughout the series.
