This is the Bandai version, exclusive to the Godzilla Store. As for the Playmates one, I’m surprised there hasn’t been more sightings of them recently. I guess the shipping crisis is still really hurting Playmates.

I think It's very possible, those were super specific choices and seeing how the recent 91 Godzilla from the MMS had elements of the Memorial Box 84 Goji.. could be a safe bet 84 is already done! We just need to wait and see whats up!

@@minilla2934 Nope. Playmates isnt bad by any means, their sculpts are decent but not amazing, but Bandai has been killing it this year. Its really no comparison, Bandai absolutely takes it.

While i do love and appreciate the love for Playmates, I think Bandai's been out pacing them this year. Love the PM Burning G and Jet.. but Bandai really swooped in with those new Jet figures. But Bandai's latest Burning Godzilla (2016) was a bag of burning dookie. so eh.But with the pull ahead of a new MG 75, 1991 and all the other new releases they dropped this year... Bandai took 2021. Doesn't help that Playmates got stiffed on the whole shipping situation, but overall i can see the two becoming festive rivals in terms of figures on the cheap!

@@Executive_Hamster uh, yep playmates has a better gigan, burning Godzilla, gorosaurus, kong, monsterverse godzilla, Godzilla final wars (12 inch) and destoroyah. Bandai has a better spacegodzilla, shin Godzilla, jet Jaguar, monsterverse mechagodzilla, and Godzilla final wars (6 inch). They are close, but playmates still better for me

The playmates one for me is trash, sure the Bandai is far from perfect, but it still looks like him way more. The Playmates one looks like the Tyrannosaurus from The Last Dinosaur. I will give the Playmates one this, its more accurate when it comes to Goros colors but the sculpt is not exact.

This dude is definitely not worth $60 plus shipping. He's expensive just for being a Japan exclusive and nothing else because when it comes to Godzilla kaiju he's the most basic there is. His only competition in blandness is Manilla. If only he were the usual $25 to $35 range I wouldn't be so torn cuz it is still Gorosaurus, after all.

I think the major buyer appeal is just that BAndai hasn't released a new figure of him since 1998. I mean I like the figure for sure, and I felt it was worth It and all that stuff, but i can 100% see why anyone would be turned off to getting this thing. Even with liking it, I can admit it's pretty lacking for an exclusive lol
