I saw this figure at Target this morning and it was really nice but I'll stick with my boy 2003 the original NECA figure for the most part and it's also a birthday gift from my dear mom.

I love this figure but I personally prefer the original cause the paint applications on this one are great and can make it it's own unique figure but I love the original as well just of how much detail and work is put into it.Its not to say this one is bad I love the shiny violet purple that are in his feet and in back of the spines and the yellow on him was smooth

my goodness...what a funny review video! That hot pretzel with mustard comment made me want a warm pretzel. haha! I will check out the Thank You NECA video, but I am disappointed that they never created and released a Showa Mothra or even SOS or BFE version. I was so hoping for an inexpensive alternative to MA that looked good and was posable. Though they did well with the 2003 Goji (which I did not get, but I got the 89), I wished they had released Space Godzilla instead. That really would have set the G fandom on fire. Just because NECA would have knocked over the MA version. NECA would have really gone out with a tremendous bang.

As much as I love this figure, NECA did miss an opportunity to paint the inside of the mouth blue to match up with the dorsal plates It would’ve added more of a “cooler” effect, if that makes any sense

I like this repaint, but I think NECA could have removed the scar, having a regular chest and releasing it as a 2002 KiryuGoji from Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla. That way they could easily knock out another movie design before they lost the rights. It is a nice repaint though, and I'm glad I got him. I'm hoping that NECA will eventually get the rights back in the future and continue making Godzilla figures.

I personally feel as if people are giving to much hate on the 2003 mold. It's a fine stylized mold. Even the 1989 is a stylized mold. All of the Toho Neca's are stylized molds. But this is just my opinion.
