this isnt really fourth wall breaking, just a coincidence. the closest thing is that takeru says it's "like a manga" and then eiko says it's "accurate" there isnt anybody talking to the audience or acknowledging the show also i cant believe you cut out the portraits for eiko and chizuru, i laughed my ass off so hard that scene

TheMythicalMatty the fourth wall like the ultra thin line between the real world an d world of a cartoon anime or series. If a joke is made towards the viewer an not towards another character in the series they call it shattering the fourth wall. So the joke was they are drawing manga of squidy in the anime of squidy. So the joke is not towards any of the in series characters, but directly to the viewer. So the joke got passed (broken) the fourth wall. I hope this helps ^^
